very good game inspired by Baldurs Gate
Im very pleasure, that i have s legal copy of this rpg game, with updates, maybe is too much similiar to Baldurs Gate, its perhaps for someone boring, to the circle... but i like this game, i forgive its little bugs at all.

could've been good except the lame cast
this game has some good points, the graphics and three dimensional backdrops are very nicely done, the need for preparing before camping, and the complicated character development in the way of gameplay, However, not the cast! The characters, quite frankly, stink! Yes, you are going to say that the original Baldur's Gate had silly characters. But at least they were UNIQUELY silly! They were original and had issues that were interesting. But here, it is the same old argument of feminists, and social "justice" prevails yet again and mostly unduly in the form of getting the bellicose responses to innocent questions and the like. Telling the same old story about, "weak ego-centric men" and women who are so insecure of their own womanhood as to become overbearing and who hate to be called beautiful. these characters are totally unoriginal, Every other game, movie, and storybook made and written in the last 3 or 4 years uses the tired "formula". Instead of unique offbeat(as in the popular beaten path) we, instead have the speeches about men and women and prejudice and preaching throughout! The men are mostly weak willed whiners, a male dwarvan cleric who acts like a sissie, a male sorcerer who brags but is weak, a barbarian woman who wants to attack party members and is in need of a Prozac, and a ex paladin woman who has a complex and is much the same, bellicose, when you speak and give her an honest(lawfull good) compliment about her beauty, What in Hell is the harm in that! Obviosly she is a borderline personality! to offset this game I made my play character protag, a male Aasimar fighter/paladin of strong will in dialogue with heavy emphasis on combat out of it to at least balance the scales back to some kind of reasoning) honestly, I asked everyone in my party who ended up there to leave in the Dwarvan trading post.my -99 words is coming to an end, But I can say this game could have been good but instead is mediocre and the characters are unrelatable!

Flawed, mediocre. Beware.
Ok, so I bought into the hype and got the game. I probably should have waited. Firstly the base install on my system is 43 Gb. This is not acceptable. Secondly, the game itself is very very mediocre (the writing especially), and it crashes a lot macOS HighSierra. I'm unable to get it to patch through GoG Galaxy. Good work, GoG. Thirdly, and has been mentioned elsewhere, character art is very limited. This shouldn't be an issue for an RPG like this. Yes, I can download art easily enough, but I shouldn't have to.

Just....Disappointing
I have been playing CRPGs since Fallout 1. I really wanted to like this game. I like the classes, races, etc., in the character creator. The story and characters seem interesting. The problem is actually playing the game. The first side quest pretty much sums up the experience. You are told to go to a cave and retrieve some plant or something. In the cave are enemies called spider swarms and also normal spiders (which cause permanent stat damage for some dumb reason). The spiders are manageable. The swarms can only be killed by AoE attacks, which is revealed to you by a random tool tip on the load screen. I wipe a few times before I learn about needing AoE attacks. I come back loaded up with grenades and proceed to throw them at the swarms. Throw. Miss. Throw. Miss. Throw. Miss. I go through ten + grenades and have managed to kill one swarm before my party is wiped again. This is combat in this game. Combat just seems broken. Combat is just not fun or rewarding. And I am playing on Normal difficulty. Also, the normal act of walking from place to place is painfully slow. I gave it two stars only because the story seems like it may go interesting places. Until the developer overhauls the combat, go play Pillars or Baldur's Gate again.

Gameplay is terrible
Like another review, this game looks nice and has great presentation and options. However, the combat system and overall gameplay is very broken. Specifically, the time it takes to invoke actions during combat is completely random. You can repeat the same battle over and over and get action timings from 0.0s to 6.0s at random. This makes battles unpredictable. For example, you may issue commands right after the system auto-pauses and get timings for 4 characters of: 0.4, 2.3, 5.3, 2.6 and then reload and repeat the same battle and get timings of: 4.6, 5.2, 1.5, 4.4. Your combat strategy, then, is useless since you can't predict the timing of actions. Plus, if you wait to issue commands, your timings will decrease faster than linear time (character prep for battle??), but if you wait in realtime after issuing commands, the timings will decrease along with linear time. Also, resting doesn't heal, only spells do. So, if you explore the world, you will not be able to lose a battle without getting stuck if you don't have a cleric. Additionally, durations of travel are excessive and your characters fatigue easily. All of this means that if you intend to move around the map, you will be resting almost every other move. This makes the game very boring and interrupts any fun you would have. I think the game is trying to be too "realistic" at the expense of enjoyment. Plus. the maths of the game are just plain wrong. Good luck trying to play this if you buy it. I wouldn't spend much on it if you don't want to feel your money has been wasted.
