Fun, Quirky Visual Novel/Adventure Game
Combining many good elements of todays crop of visual novels with the movement and exploration of adventure games from yesteryear, Oxenfree has an interesting story to tell and is a fun little ride for the 5 hours or so it takes to beat. Set your expectations correctly and you will be pleasantly rewarded.

This was cool and interesting (for me)
I can also seeing a few people wanting to play it a few times through. The creator had a certain vision in mind and it's great to see them stick with that. Some folks may not like the "interactive story" type games, but if you're not completely opposed to it, then hop in.

Niezła gierka
W zasadzie to taki symulator chodzenia, opierający się na fabule. Sama fabuła może nie powala i ma trochę niedociągnięć, ale do przeżycia. Z błędów, kilka razy zdarzyło mi się, że podążająca za mną postać stanęła w miejscu i stwierdziła, że dalej nie idzie. Dziwne dysponowanie czasem, jeżeli chodzi o wybór odpowiedzi. Raz mogłem się bez problemu zastanowić, co chcę wybrać, a innym razem dymki znikały zanim zdążyłem wszystko przeczytać. Dialogi są świetne, a angielski dubbing genialnie zrobiony. Tytuł godny polecenia.

A surprising game!!
I downloaded this game from the X-box Game Pass, so I know it wasn't played on PC but still wanted to give a review. I figured I would just poke around in it and have it as someting to do when I was bored. But I was HOOKED with in the first few minutes of playing! The game play is 2D, but still very interactive imo. I would put the controller down at times just to listen to the dialog between the characters. You can change up your dialog responses that affects how the characters interact with you. And the more times you play the game the more it messes with the main character! This made the multiple play throughs for some of the achievements less monotonous. The story was not anthing that hasn't necessarily been done before however I still enjoyed it. As well as how some of my choices affected my ending options. I defenitly recommend this, and it has inspired me to check out more less known/Indy games.

Your choices matter.
You care about these haunted teens. You can be as nice as Mr. Rogers or as mean as Miranda Priestly, and this behavior will decide how Alex gets along with the others at the end. A wonderful story. A beautiful art style. A wonderful story. Gameplay is standard for a walking simulator.
