Great game - surprisingly original
A surprisingly original game (at least I have never played or seen anything similar to it) and a surprisingly large and diverse world. The world includes some quite original and surprising areas. Graphics: The game looks great in 4K (considering it was released in 2008) and have some very nice visual effects and level design. My modest AMD 780M iGPU could not deliver 60 FPS at 4K, therefore, I suggest a discrete GPU to play it at that resolution. Difficulty: I personally switched to Normal difficulty after I started on Legendary. On Legendary even the weakest enemies are difficult to overcome without losing minions and when I reached the first boss it seemed almost impossible to kill. According to online reports it took one person 30 min of grind to kill it... 😄 That level of grind was not for me... Instead, I started again at normal difficulty and took it as a challenge to lose as least minions as possible.

a Game that that does what it should do: just makes fun to play and it very funny. Also who doesn't want to have two woman, an army of goblins, design your own lair and beat the sh*t out of so called heros who got corrupted after they beat you .

Fajny pomysł z irytującymi detalami
Overlord to gra, w której wcielamy się w tego złego, a w zasadzie w Pana Zła. Rozgrywka polega na sterowaniu oddziałem złych stworków, gotowych niszczyć, kraść i zabijać wszystko na naszej drodze. Całość podana jest w lekkiej formie, okraszonej humorem z dodatkiem absurdu. Gra przebiega w wielu lokacjach - w każdej z nich musimy zabić bohaterów albo władców po drodze niszcząc wszelkie istnienie (albo tylko część, jeśli mamy taki kaprys). Niestety, tu dochodzimy do bolączek tej gry. Pierwszym z nich jest powtarzalność. Fajnie się niszczy przez kilka godzin, potem miałem wrażenie, że to nie ma większego celu. Przeciwnicy należą do kilku ras, ale zasadniczo większość z nich jest podobna do siebie. Dlatego większość starć to było po prostu wszyscy na jednego. Prawdopodobnie twórcy widzieli ten problem, więc z czasem dodali też specjalne umiejętności do niektórych przeciwników. Niestety, zrobili to w okropny sposób. Od pewnego momentu gry niektórzy wrogowie posiadają atak, który może zabić 10-20 stworków (pod koniec gry mamy naraz 35-40). To oznacza, że nieuważając można stracić w ciągu sekundy połowę swojej armii. To nie byłoby jeszcze takie złe, gdyby nie to, że przeciwnicy się odradzają i mogą przyjść z losowych kierunków. Tak więc na koniec, można było stracić swoją armię w ciągu kilku sekund. Monotonne i irytujące. To powodowało, że gra była dużo bardziej nastawiona na grind, by zdobyć zasoby do odbudowania armii. Co gorsze, system tworzenia przedmiotów używa naszej armii jako jeden ze składników (w absurdalnych ilościach po kilka setek!), co jeszcze bardziej wzmacnia potrzebę powtarzania w kółko tego samego. Ogólnie polecam fanom serii. Myślę, że nie ma co poświęcać czasu tej grze.

Heyyo, lol I love this game and Overlord II is plenty of fun. The strategy of which minions to send or what attack to use makes it more fun than just your generic third person hack n slash.. Throw in a "Bling your casltle" mode for giggles and sacrificing your minions to create new and better weapons and armor? and you got yourself a good ol' game that belongs on this site. Definitely a 5/5 game by Codemasters. Those guys sometimes make gaming gems like this beaute.
