Great Game
There is nothing else to say. It is another masterpiece from Cyan. If you enjoy MYST and RIVEN you will absolut love this one.

Change in minimum graphics requirements
The minimum graphics requirement used to say (up until recently) Intel HD 4000, Iris 5000 family or better. This has now been recently changed and GOG support tells me that this game isn't compatible with Intel graphics cards. So even though I bought a new computer to meet the min requirements I will never be able to play this game. I hope GOG is more careful when posting the system requirements of games in the future and they follow through with my refund.

Tedious, a one word review.
I do like a good puzzle, and I like a good storyline, but this game has neither. The story is flaky at best, disjointed, and lacking most of the basic details. The puzzles are really tedious and you soon get the feeling that the hours you spend trying to solve them, most of which is taken up running back and forth, are hours that you'll never get back. Speaking of running back and forth, this game runs on rails so you cannot fall off anything or climb anything and it certainly is not "open world". You find yourself just following the paths that the developers have allowed you to follow, back and forth, get this, bring that, move that, and so on, and just for fun, everything has to have a delay to it, the teleport machines take about 25+ seconds each way, the mine card is excruciatingly slow, and just running is barely more than a brisk walk. The majority of the time in the game is taken up teleporting, walking fast over great distances, and driving a mine cart really slowly. I finished the game, but once finished, the story, what the was of it, ends and that's it, no more play, you're done and you get the credits.

If bactracking is your idea of fun
The beautiful visuals taken apart, the game absolutely didn't worth the time invested. This is not a puzzle game. This is a maze game, with doors blocked by passwords, and that's mostly it. Hours of backtracking, moving like a slug, is neither fun nor clever. Add bugs to this (impossible to watch photographs you took), and tons of text that have almost no value.

Didn't last 10 minutes - Bored Stiff
Wanted to give this a go, but unfortunately it's all about visuals and no substance. I really can't be doing with these games where you have to walk around clicking every 5 seconds to get anywhere, waiting for something to happen, while the graphics card gets hot enough to cook your breakfast on. I spent the first 15 wandering aimlessly, annoyingly having to click every 2 seconds to move anywhere, just to keep repeating this routine was excruciatingly painful. The first interaction with a lamp and turning the key - whoppee - what the hell is that for? It's daylight FFS. Can't interact with anything, can't move freely where I want - it was a terrible experience and one that I've seen before - all about the visuals that become boring after a while and no substance, strung together with half messages and cryptic crap. What's the point? Wandering aimlessly about waiting for something to happen - if a game cannot get me hooked within the first 10 minutes, then it gets uninstalled and binned. This is one such game - a truly abysmal experience. I'm just glad it was free and that I hadn't actually laid out any cash for it.
