I cannot recommend this game enough. Of all the great games developed by Westwood Studios, I believe this to be their best.

Original Nox player

My review does not show any hours on record through GOG, but I can tell you that I spent many hours playing this game when I was younger. The game was a dark horse for it's time and fell behind the shadow of games like Diablo for the dungeon crawler's original era. Do not let the old-school appearance fool you. It is a diamond in the rough easily still worth $20 to this day like Diablo still retains

Thank you GOG!

I was shocked when I saw this game on here. I remember playing it as a teenager. I would get done with my homework as fast as I could just so I'd have more time to play this game. Several years back, I remember trying to load this game onto my PC to play it again. It'd never work right. I read a review about how GOG.com had implemented all the fixes you'd need to play this game on modern hardware (I'm on Windows 8.1 with an Nvidia GTX 660M and an Intel Core-I7 for my older games). Needless to say, I WAS NOT disappointed. The game runs smoothly and I feel the nostalgia. I thank you very much GOG!

Good Game

In my opinion Nox is one of the best alternative to Blizzard`s Diablo (I & II) at that time. I've re-played it for about 10 times. Every time on different character. Yes it is a bit simple story and does not have so gorgeous intro like Diablo, but on other hand this simplicity makes you to immediately understand what to do and how to play and at every completed quest it drives you mad of curiosity what will bring the next one. I promise you will not get bored.
