Still FUBAR after three years of patches

So, after three years, I finally decided to buy this "game" and am incredibly dissappointed. What a waste of money. Firstly, there is no way to remap the keys, so I am forced to use WASD to move, but as a touch typer, I've been using ESDF since key mapping first became a thing back in the late 1980s. Also, while there is a screen that appears to be for this pupose, it is completely blank, so I can't even figure what keys are for what purpose in the standard mapping system. Secondly, I got dumped on a planet that killed me due to radiation poisoning in less than five minutes, with no chance of any other outcome. WTF kind of trash is this? I had enough time to fix my scanner and then I was dead. There is no obvious tutorial and nothing to help new players figure out what they are supposed to be doing. Finally, there appears to be no way to change my ingame name, because the game automatically defaults to my GOG account name of "Wraithcat". Nor do I appear to be able to set my character's gender, or any other of my characters traits. I'm sure if I were able to play the game for more than five minutes without dying, I'd have quite a few more complaints, but after three years No Man's Sky is still FUBAR. If I bought this game on Steam, I'd be going for an immediate refund, but am not sure of how to do so with GOG.

Twitchy Glitchyness.

I am an eve online / minecraft fan for many years. I have been waiting for this kind of game for all my life >.< I give this game a 5+ rating For concept, design and potential. NO doubt. This one will iron all the kinks out over time and become #1 Congratulations dudes. The game will not run past the startup animation flying through space to white screen then shuts down to desktop. Tried a bunch of the issue resolves. Same issue every time. This one is perhaps NOT PC READY. FPS during the startup animation is extremely dire and quite erratic. Feels like a laggy console to pc emulator then crashes. Windows 7 64bit 16 gb ram AMD Radeon 6400 Really tried to make this one work, maybe it's a GOG thing?

Might be a better game if it started.

I bought this game after seeing several YouTubers claim that it had been extensively patched and no longer suffered from poor optimization. Not true, from where I sit. After a couple hours of tweaking I managed to get the start screen to pop up... with no start menu. Uninstalled and all files deleted. I can't speak to the quality of the game, because the game wouldn't start, but the code is still garbage.

Not the Best Space Exploration Game

It's full first person 3D, supports VR natively, and lets you explore the galaxy to you're hearts content. Assuming you finish the tutorial, which is almost required and really is quite needed for a first time player. However, the sentiment that it feels like a job is true. So if you're into that kind of game, you'll get kick. Though the VR mode tended to make me feel pretty sick despite having found my VR legs for a slew of other games.

Lacks Content

Still lacks content. Can't build your own spaceship! Limited Generations of everything. Have you seen one then most likely have seen all. Oh, and welcome to be Alpha-Tester! Hello Games should be ashamed for releasing such a bug-ridden software which rendered the Game for about 80% of the players useless, e.g. crashes, can't start, performance issues, reduced viewfield aso. SHAME ON YOU ONCE MORE HELLO GAMES!
