The control schemes in this game are horrible.

The Complete Edition is great. It does have some issues at times, such as when you install it, sometimes you have to restart your pc just to get it to launch. Other times, it will launch right away but display at 24 fps until you restart once. This game is basically the EE but without the controller support. I just tested multiplayer earlier, and connected to a persistent world no problems. Or rather, minimal issues. You do have to "log in" to multiplayer but it times out after about 20-30 seconds, and from there you can Direct Connect to persistent worlds. There's a list of all major PW's for not only NWN 2 but also NWN 1. It starts with hero. Check it out. Seriously, if you're wondering if you should get this for $20 or the EE for $30... Save yourself $10 unless you really need controller support. I do not. I'm happy with what I already own.

This game is so full of bugs and errors that it's depressing. Quite a fun game to play, while it works... after a while you will have to restart from scratch, as the bugs tend to mess up your save games. If I'd known I would have stayed away from this one...

I do not know what game everyone has played that was so great. But I didn't play it after I bought it. The game controls were clunky. The graphics were fine. The story however was horrible. The characters were not only hollow, but completely retarded. Cliche after cliche character, it felt like a joke game instead of a full supposed triple A title. The game mechanics had some of the worst illogical rules I've ever come across in an RPG to 30 years of gaming. If a bunch of middleschoolers had made this game from scratch I would have commended them for the effort, but this lump of excrement was made by people who should have had enough experience to put something together and didn't. I was so tired and bored of the go fetch it. The first part of the game has the characters just aimlessly running around with no sense of reason. Even having a reason was so hollow as you would just be hung up by strange stuff for explicable reason. Well I have to get a magic acorn of retardation in the woods, ok, oops. Guess I'll be distracted for 2 hours for no reason while I do this pointless task. That is the entire game. Plus expansions give you a meter that prevents you at times from progressing altogether. You cannot sleep and thus die and you cannot go back unless you had an old save. But by that time you probably don't and there you are. Stuck and can't progress any further. So if you want a review on this game beyond fanboy ball gargling. Take mine to heart before buying this game.

Unstable garbage. Graphic and animation issues rampant, though for the most part they are only peripherally distracting and are mostly minor. Game crashed twice on me before I could finish the Original Campaign. Totally unacceptable. First time it did so, I had not made a save for awhile and found myself losing a ridiculous amount of time, it was easier just to start over. Second time I was nearing the final battle and was in the middle of saving and it took my saved game with it. . .And the auto saves? Totally inadequate. Last auto save was before (SPOILER) the attack on the keep, couple hours or so previous. The game is alright, but the frustration of playing it far outpaces any satisfaction derived from the experience. Save your time, save your money, get Shadowrun or something which runs smoothly and without punishing people for not save scumming.
