Cute short game, inexcusable glitches

The game itself is cute - the art is great - but gameplay is a bit basic. If the game were longer, it would become repetitive. It's basically a platformer in which one of the characters has to move the platforms around, which slows the pace quite a bit. It is worth playing because of the cultural immersion, a retelling of an Iñupiaq fable. The companion story, "Foxtales", plays a bit better and the puzzles are more fun. Regretfully, it has some inexcusable glitches. First, I had to try the game in FOUR computers before being able to play it -- it did not run even in relatively new ones. My advice is install it as soon as you buy it, and if it doesn't work return it! Second, the little videos ("Cultural Insights") just crash the game! How can a video crash a game? I wasn't able to watch any. There was also an early gameplay glitch: when you are chased by a bear, you get cornered and nothing happens. I solve it by switching to coop play, and then the story continued. Great concept, but poor quality testing I think.

A good, casual game of an Inuit folktale

After I got this game, I played it over a few days, a little bit at a time. I think it is a wonderful game, even if its relatively short, that tells a great story and has great art design to go with it. It is suitable for people of any age and has a wonderful message of friendship, teamwork, and perseverance (to name a few), and a great way to learn a bit about some of the people we live among. I would love to see more added to this, whether more stories added to the game itself or maybe a sequel game that adds more of the stories and more about the people. However, the gameplay as it is is better suited for more advanced players who are well familiar with platformer games and love these types, but beginners might find it a bit difficult or too challenging and really talented gamers may find it too easy. I would suggest adding a difficulty rating to counter this problem. Another thing I want to mention is the Bola. Now, I didn't get the game until after the first update which fixed the Bola aiming so I don't know how bad it was before. I don't think the aiming itself is bad now, but I think some people will find it a bit difficult to do when you're in a bind, in example, being chased by the wicked man. It would be cool if there could be an option to change how you aim the bola, on controllers, to make it easier for the more beginner players, but also keep how it is for those who find the current aiming suitable. By adding a change of aiming, allow the Bola to be aimed by thumbstick or d-pad and released by another button. One last thing. Online co-op. I really think that the game could benefit from it. Letting friends play together who can't just come over and share a computer to play the game. I know all this stuff takes time to learn and do, but I think online co-op is a great option to consider to help reach more people. I would so play this game again with friends to help them through the game and learn about the story.

Good Game to Play with Someone.

I really like this game. Though it's a simple game but better playing in 2 person mode. Beautiful relax and story-ful, I feel satisfied, I want to play with my friend. Both interesting and cheap game, with foreign narrator in game.

Casual and Educational

This game is interesting to play if you want to learn more about the culture, and if you have this goal, you will be fine. The game is very artistic with nice visuals, cool story and original setting. It is also perfect for younger players. However, it is very casual, a bit short, with gliches here and there. Most importantly, this is not a game for gamers and veterans of the genre looking for any meaningfull chalange.

I loved it very much

Best platformer I ever played. Sometimes it is hard to change between characters, especially when somebody pursue us, but this is a game. There has to be in the game some bosses to remain exciting.
