Great potential, needs balancing

The game offers a very realistic simulation of survival in a distopian future. If you manage to survive through the early game, it's great fun and a real challenge. IF. However, 19 out of 20 times you'll die to bullshit within the first dozen turns of the game. Out of approx. 40 runs, I've managed to get into the middle of the game ONCE, because I got extremely lucky in the beginning. This pretty much killed my interest in retrying the game by the second day. I'd go into more detail, but since I don't think I'll be playing the game any more, I can only recommend that people wait for a discount. I got it for 5 bucks and would have regretted paying any more. Like the title says: There's great, even huge potential there. But since you only get to experience that every once in a blue moon...

Worth a wereworlf pealth

Reminded me of the spirit of the old fallout games, usually I don't like this kind of hardcore survival games, specially if they are grid or turn base, but this one is something special. Support this creator. 20/20 would kill and wear a werewolf again

Don't judge this book by the cover

On the surface, you might assume this game looks like a simple text-based or point and click game. It's from either of these. This is a fantastic turn based, strategy-survival game. It is incredibly deep and engaging. Many different options at each turn. Lots of ways to manipulate your character and the environment around you. You have just one life. If you die, the game starts over again. Really impactful on how you make your choices. I am thoroughly enjoying playing Neo Scavenger. A great value even at full price. You can believe the community ratings on this one.

Flash player app, not a real game engine

I thought this would be an actual well coded game, or at worst something that runs in Unity. I was wrong, it is an app for Adobe Flashplayer, our favourite security pariah. What looked like a promising game will not run at all on my system because I have no intention of using flash player or related libraries. If you're not aware of why this might be important just feel free to do a search for "Flash security". We had to wait years for websites to move to HTML5 and liberate us from this trash but here it is still bothering us. I might just add that the only error message I get for not having this installed is "File not found.row:0", suggesting that the product was not well tested.

Good grid based survival game

It is challenging and slightly unbalanced, download the expanded mod for more content because the vanilla game is good as it is, but I always felt there could've been more content
