Mortal Kombat 1+2+3

Bought this after reading jdvorak.913's review, but he is misleading as xbox controller WON'T WORK WITH THIS GAME The game will detect it, sure, but the deadzone is too sensitive and will result in the character jumping by himself also the game runs too fast as can be seen on the character select screen Don't bother with this, better off with emulating the console versions

The game works very well! If you need help, the forum meets almost all your expectations. My xbox elite controller works great with joytokey! The only thing that bothers me a little bit. It's the sound that's really bad. I remember the time I spent on the Megadrive/Genesis version. There is no comparison possible, so big is the difference in quality!

I either get kicked out of the game or it just freezies, after the 10 or 11th win... losing to the ????????? people..... why does it crash instead of letting me play the next few levels with 5 or 6 credits.

This trilogy is the original PC port of all games which at the time where very decent ports considering what was possible on MSdos PC. Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 use the ancient Adlib/synthetised instruments , 3 has CD audio music quality. 1 music was fine , 2 soundtrack on PC was bad but it does have the advantage of most home port of having the computer A.I cheat less often compared to the original Arcade game. all of the game Run fine , Gameplay is very close to the arcade setting. you might want to be using Anti-micro if Dosbox don't recognise your controller like it did with mine but otherwise this work pretty well.

mk2: screen is deviated to the left, animation (PC version) is sh***. Keymap is sh*** as well. mk3: screen is deviated as well. it automatic choose character after 2 seconds. recommend get the ma me version instead of this sh...t
