great game but.....
great game but frustation at the end of the game.......escaton palace = crash....... may be patch can be add on this game ? but its great to replay a this old game...

good but becomes tedious...
i really enjoy these games although i haven't beaten any of them yet. they are great fun for a while but can become tedious. it's always the same thing, you join some guild but the guy who can teach you mastery of that guild is some yo-yo in some other town somewhere, so you have to go around searching him out and it's just such a drag and so time consuming. same goes for becoming an expert at using weapons or whatever, time consuming and really takes AWAY from the overall fun of the game, it's one feature in this series that needs to DIE!!!!!!! it's just so stupid. but maybe other payers don't mind this aspect of the game? it loses 2 stars because of this retarded feature.

Escaton Palace Crash!! Do NOT Buy!!!
As someone already pointed out, the game literally crashes whenever you try to enter the Escaton Palace. I see no indication that GOG is trying to fix/solve the problem.. Not worth spending hours on a game you can't even finish. Someone in the Q/A department of GOG has really dropped the ball. Do NOT purchase until you find out if this has been fixed or not.

Still great
Has a bit of a bad reputation but it’s fine. Even with less content, it’s still 30 hours instead of 60 and that’s enough for an rpg.
