Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ Game of the Year Edition

If your to old and never played a similar title, and you like LOTR, then this will be for you. Runs great on my old i5 3rd gen/16gb RAM/GTX 1060(VRAM) PC. It´s a bit repetitive, In the sense that you basically just have to upgrade and kill stronger enemies as you progress. Nothing new In that sense compared to all the titles we have today, but I am ok with that since I usually don´t play these style ok games now day´s . Overall, It´s well done and fun, but nothing really new for today´s standards.

Is a fun game with a very satisfactory combat system

Absolutely loved my time in Middle Earth. Monolith (RIP) has done a fantastic job of making every part of the gameplay here fun and satisfying. Graphics were beautiful, the soundtrack was absolutely epic, the characters were memorable, and the Nemesis system was unforgettable. Challenge level was just about right, although at higher levels your character does become nigh invincible. As you gain strength and abilities, there is an unmistakable sense these unfortunate Orcs are definitely trapped in Mordor with you, and not the reverse. Be advised the action is graphically violent, with copious amounts of orc heads separated from their bodies by your hand, leaving only spurting arteries depicted with explicit detail. Also, be aware the included lore provides some much needed depth and intrigue behind all the bloodletting, but it does stray a bit from Tolkien. Overall, this is a gem that probably couldn't be made in the current year. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is a great game the combat are same as arkham games which is fun and also the open world is so beautiful really loved the work done by the devs considering this game age its still holds up in 2025.

Very fun game to relax to, Mordor becomes your playground where you bring terror to Orcs and Uruks. I was amazed by sound design, playing with headphones brings feelings of space, it's like an alive world around you. Since I'm a fan of Lord Of The Rings, I've enjoyed story and exploring the Mordor, finding artifacts which has their own stories. Runs perfectly on steam deck.
