Amazing bundle
Great series remastered and converted on PC last time i played in this 20 years ago Thanks GOG. (Possible co-op online or on one PC)

The ports plays like ass
The game runs slow as turds, and while it's clearly not how the game used to run on the original hardware one can onle blame the port job, really lacklusted, for the 1 dollar or so i payed is passable, but the slowdown gets so annoying that if you are part of the ultra elite PC Master race than can't handdle anything less than 60FPS stir away from this port of the game and get an arcade cabinet instead.

A lot unfair moments
To begin with this game was designed to squize your pockets dry in the arcades, so be prepared that you'll get a lot unfair moments, but never the less the game is good for 1-2 evenings, but there is some performance issues.

Pretty good
Metal Slug is a run-and-gun from the arcade era, and it's pretty straightforward. You run, shoot, kill enemies and collect special weapons. It's farily short too, I finished it in about 1 hour, but it's also fairly challenging, so if you like this kind of game, it will certainly give you a few hours of fun. The pixelated graphics are really good, animations are smooth, and the music keeps you pumped up and ready to kill. I played it on linux and it worked flawlessly. The game does slow down at some points when there is a lot happening on the screen, I believe this is intentional, to emulate the feeling of playing it on the original arcade machines, where it also slowed down, but I understand people being annoyed by it, even though it doesn't bother me personally. You can always play it on another emulator if that does bother you.
