One of the best
While they may look dated by today's standards, the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault games are still amazing shooters, going as far to say they're some of the best on the PC. Very fun and packed with action, they're still a blast to play today. Very happy to see these wonderful games get a digital release!

A Classic!
Been playing this for over 10 years, it holds a special place in my heart since then. - poor Ai sometimes. - rather short single player campaign. - some compatibility problems with intel videocards and windows x64. - expansion pack's are not as good as the main game and have several compatibility issues. - feels a bit dated + exellent ost and sound design. + fun missions and gameplay. + multiplayer still active (although you have to install a community made patch). + full base game and its expansions. + graphics are still very appealing and with a little bit of tweaking you can play at custom resolutions.

A Classic Shooter by all Standards
An absolute masterpiece of a PC game. Countless hours were spent by a 10 year old me playing the multiplayer of this game. The singleplayer was quite impressive for the time and the multiplayer still stands up today and had some amazing maps. The D-Day objective map in particular stands out in my mind. A fun fact is that team of developers from 2015, the company that made this game, moved on to form Infinity Ward. You can definitely see a lot of the inspiration for the first couple Call of Duty games in MOH:AA, though I have always placed this game above those. The D-Day mission in singleplayer is one of the strongest FPS levels made and is worth the price alone.

Amazing Shooter
In my view this is one of the best first person shooters and definitly the best Medal of Honor. The famous D Day mission alone makes it worth playing but there is much more and with the two expansions (can't judge Breakthrough as have never played) this is a must buy for shooter fans or fans of WW2 games in general

A Classic, Plain and Simple
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was the game that turned me from a strategy only player into the FPS genre, where I remain to this day. It definitely set the tone for the avalanche of WWII FPS games that would soon follow, but none truly captured the experience (although the first Call of Duty came close, probably because it was made by many of the people who made MOHAA). MOHAA was the first game to combine the WWII setting with nice tough of realism to create a new and refreshing WWII shooter that many later games appeared to try to emulate. Medal of Honor was well made because it felt like a shooter in that it wasn't so obsessed with "realism" that it detracted from the gameplay, yet had enough realistic elements not to make you feel like you were playing a brainless shooter. The diversity of the missions and settings (from a North African city, to a Kriegsmarine u-boat base in Norway (including a brief section inside a u-boat itself), storming Omaha Beach on D-Day, combat in the French countryside and within urban environments, to Germany itself, the game successfully avoids any lack of diversity in this sense. In some missions you fight alongside other American troops in a full scale noisy assault, in others you infiltrate silently to reach your objectives as quietly as possible. However, even though there are portions where stealth is advised, it is rarely mandatory and you can go in with guns blazing if you simply MUST do so.
