I had play this game since PS2 era, although it wasn't perfect (e.g annoying camera at times, bit slippery controls), It took me for hours of times for just this simple game. Sometimes enemies can be frustrating, which is good for challenge. But you can hilariously take them down if you can choose right pickups at right moments! Once you can master this game flaws, you probably will love this game either.
I recomend play this game using gamepad since it will give you more fluid controls. And if you have more gamepads, asks your friend to join local multiplayer (up to 4 players) and have fun together!
Fist of i bought it and i am not dissapointed,but the game is not what you think it is;
1)The game is old;not a bad thing but keep it in mind if u are bother by this kind of graphics.
2)Game modes;you got two different types,one against all or all against all,just two + a bunch of cars and skins + maps.
3)Gamplay;Get ready to sht your pants,it is not a racing game at least not the way you think,you can loose in two different ways,first you are left behind and get eliminated(point system,you loose your points you loose unless you managed to get them back),second you are killed via weapons etc,
This game works by a ten point system,that each car/npc gets including the player,depending on your position and the number of cars you can loose from 0 to -4 and viceversa,earn from 0 to +4.You got a bunch o mario kart like icons wich they give you a different weapon you can use by pressing B,once you are done you have to pick another(obviously).
To make the car go/start you have to press x and the drifting sucks it feels like going through a wet floor.As well as divided in four teams;pink,gold,red,black and i think there was one more i can recall rgt now.And other thing if you get stuck lets say on a wall that's and instant elimination sa the controls work badly and you are probably too confused to even know ere you are and even when you do it is too late.
4)The not a racing game stuff;First off,your position dosn't matter as long as you are close enough to the others and don't get destroyed by the weapons,meaning the next if the npcs car crash you can either advance or straight up try to kill them with the weapons.Or don't give a fck.
5)Game start; i am not speaking about the menu but the 'begining' of each event shorta say,it is super confusing,you find yourself and other four cars that of course take the advantage cause the controls don't respond properly.And you have to find yourself.Might sound silly but it is the truth,So be aware of where you are.

I have played through Mashed: Fully Loaded multiple times and loved it. I was excited to see it here on GOG.
However, this is not Fully Loaded, but an earlier version. It feels somewhat beta. There are two tracks missing, but that's not a big thing. The game modes and power-ups are complete if I recall correctly and also the AI behaves as I expected.
However the physics engine is crazy. I mean, it is not a sim. But there are obviously crazy bugs in the physics engine. Once I parked in front of an opponent (on the map with the raft). The oppenent touched my slightly in a head on collision and we both got sucked into the water by a crazy force. Not sure how that can happen, as collision detection for cubic objects is no rocket science. They got it fixed in the update Fully Loaded apparently, so it's a pitty we cannot have that here on GOG.
I've never played a game like this where bugs are its advantage. It almost seems it was the intention. Must be played with friends as local multiplayer(up to 4 players) then it's the ultimate fun.
