Mad Max

The title says much about my opinion of this game. In this one you travel by car (and you will use it a lot for game mechanics) that the plot makes a central protagonist with our main character and his called sidekick. The car must be optimized by buying pieces that are unlocked by main story missions, some side ones or lowering the enemy control of certain area (lots of "open worlds" games have something like this). The main appeal is the Mad Max universe and certanly the combat system that mirrors the batman arkham since Warner Bros games is involved. It has some survival elements that turn meaningless once you upgrade your character enough. The plot is grim but kinda generic it have though one of the best opening cinematics. Overall a solid experience, not a "game of the year" but enjoyable if not getting stuck in collectables.

This is a must play for any Mad Max fans. Highly recommend enjoying all the films alongside your playthrough to really get in the mood. The car combat is the star of the show here. Explosions are great, cars feel appropiately heavy. It's actually quite a looker at times as well. There aren't any real survival elements, combat is simplified Arkham-style that feels more brutal and scrappy. My biggest gripes are the overloading of map objectives, even though I love this game I didn't complete all that junk. You don't get the SPOILER until the end of the game. There aren't any motorcycles which is easily the games biggest sin and honestly the game needed a heavier focus on convoy style missions that capture what the films are really about. I would love to have Chumbucket take the wheel while Max leaps to an oil tanker to scrap. If only we got a sequel. Ultimately though this is a win. I love staking out a fort and demolishing all of it's defenses, I love kicking the $#17 out of wastelanders, I love the boom the sawed off makes, I love how powerful the cars feel and slamming them into eachother. It's pure simple joy.

This unusual entry in the Arkham series puts a clinically-depressed, shotgun-wielding Batman in giant wasteland where he punches everyone he meets and eats dogfood. The batmobile is in rough shape, too. Really, it is very satisfying and simple and just gets a blissful vibe of melancholic wasteland wandering.

One of the best games I ever played. It got everything: Sanbox, action, cars, upgrades, explosions, excellent fighting, superb graphics! If you love the Mad Max movies, this is also a must buy

Grab this game now. Spring sale. You can't go wrong. As an Australian I grew up watching the movies and when I saw this game on G.O.G. I bought it straight away and I was not disappointed. Plenty of Action and Driving Fun with a good storyline. Enjoy
