If you want a game that you can just load up and start shooting, you may find this game a pleasant surprise. I love the fast-paced action and music as well as the bright colours and minimalist graphics style. It's a nice little game that doesn't take itself too seriously. The high jumping, unlimited ammo and lack of a cross-hair make this game feel quite different to what I'm used to. It almost like J-Pop in game form.
This is an adorable game that just makes me feel happy and cozy while playing it, despite the second half of the game being incredible unforgiving and difficult

Lovely Planet distills the FPS down to it's cutest basics, and then some. Each level is it's own mini-puzzle in how to reach the end in time, and defeat all of the enemies on the way.
You have to like to shoot stuff, and to be precise in both aiming and jumping, and to try to beat your own time, but if that's you, then this game is perfection.
I loved this game to bits when I played it, but I can totally see it not being for everyone. 5/5 stars for me.
This is a challenging game, you will probably become frustrated as you progress, but after putting the game down for a few days you will come back and progress a little bit more.
But despite this as I progressed I noticed more and more missing frames, to the point where the camera would pause and snap to a different direction. This could be due to something other than the game but everything else I run is smooth, and with a game this challenging it is very important that the camera moves smoothly. So, while you will be able to enjoy the first 3 levels, beyond this I believe the performance hinders the experience to the point where I cannot be bothered completing the game.
In this game, you run around jumping and shooting enemies as quickly and accurately as possible in order beat each level by touching a pole.

- Gets difficult quickly
- No settings to change difficulty
The design is cute and simple with upbeat music. Since deaths and restarting a level are quick, its easy to continuously play the game, even though a single hit will kill you. The quick and responsive controls make you feel as though you have full control over your character.
However, the lack of shading can make aiming and platforming difficult. Also, there are moments where the game is unfair. For example, at one point in the first world, you have to jump to a platform, turn, jump off of the platform before it disappears, and shoot a ball that is firing over your head (which will cause you to die if it hits the ground). Doing this is quite difficult because you can't stand on the platform, and aiming at the ball changes the direction that you're jumping in. This would have been fine if there were settings to either remove the balls or to stop platforms from disappearing, however, there are no settings to modify the world or to change the game's difficulty.
The game's design is simple and enjoyable, but I would have prefered to play on a less challenging difficulty and then change it after getting better at the game. Also, if the difficulty could have been reduced, this would have been my kids' first shooter.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
