Twinsen's Little Big Adventure Classic

Just buy it! Spent many, many hours playing LBA on my old 486 along with my brother. Ah, such good memories. It seems like yesterday. This game is magnificent. A true work of art. Nobody should ever miss it. An unique experience with a beautiful game bearing charming elements long forgotten. Thanks, GOG, for allowing us to play it one more time. You are the best!

I so want to play this game again but I can't because I can't find a way to save :S Can someone PLEASE tell me how to save so I can start playing ? Thanks in advance.

I bought this little gem on the PS1 years and years ago and it was amazing - i found myself getting so fond of Twinsen despite him not having a proper voice and wanting him to do well. It was the first game i'd played where there were different ways to achieve things, stealth, timing, diversion, fighting - the handling system was sometimes a little unweildy but the whole experience - and the world created - was hugely enjoyable. my PS1 copy was stolen and as i played it and replayed it often i really missed it.

I don't write reviews very often. Other people do a incredible job, and I usually don't have the time necessary for this. But Relentless deserves it. When I was younger and Internet was not The Internet (try using a 28kbps dial-up nowadays), I bought a number of magazines that came with random game demos. Most of the games where unknown to me. Relentless was one such game. Developed by an obscure studio, Adeline, the demo was wonderful. In it, you made a incredible escapade from a prison cell, snook around guards, changed clothes, and went to your home. The game play, based on "stances", was very different; You chose a stance (aggressive, stealth, athletic) which lead to different kinds of actions available (fight, sneak, jump). There where those kind of platform puzzles, like, avoid a deadly gap here, jump through spikes there and sneak through the guard. Your weapon, a ball that worked as a boomerang ("ball of returning", if you may) was also very unique. The story was solemn, actually well told. The characters and overall art design was very cute and charming. Yes, the game is oriented to younger people, with all its colors, good vs. evil concepts and such, but have enough puzzles and depth to make it a very important game in the history of games. The sequel, while not as impressive at the time, was again one of my favorites. I'm very proud to have both original boxes.

One of my favorite games growing up. It had a sweet story, it didn't take itself too seriously, it was imaginative, challenging puzzles, and had an fun cast.
