Same Tech Glitch :(
Same tech glitch as mentioned above by mrsfarrelly. When I drink the swamp potion it crashes w/the ScummVm window. It's a shame, this is the best game in the series, but stuck w/this glitch early on.

Much better than the 1st
In my review of the first game in this series, I panned it for being a bad game with terrible puzzles and story line. I entered this game with low expectations. Boy was I surprised. They fixed everything that was wrong in the previous game. Each screen serves a purpose. The puzzles largely make sense. Your actions are driven by the plot. The game controls were easy to use. I enjoyed playing this game. However, I can't give it 5 stars, because it didn't seem like something special. The graphics are fine for its time, but nothing stand-out. The voice acting was below-average. None of the characters are that memorable. The story wasn't particularly deep. A good, enjoyable game. But not one of the greats.

The best in the series!
Varied locations, colorful graphics, good voice acting and humor. Zanthias quest is the best in the Kyrandia series... Would love to see a sequel!

Average Game
I played this a long time ago and just finished replaying it now. I had memories of this game being a good adventure and I found out that its not the case. The game has a lot of back and forth just for the sake of increasing the gameplay time. Some puzzles are only solvable by only one way when there should be more solutions available. Ie: You need to mix items A and B. If you mix it A and B you are fine. But if you mix B and A it doesn't work. All in all its an average game that was good when it was released but it's not anymore by today's design standards. If you want a really good adventure play Gabriel Knight 20th anniversary.

The only Kyrandia game worth playing
I bought the entire Kyrandia pack, but only managed to finish this second game of the seres. I hated the first and third game, but this one I found utterly enjoyable. The story is a bit blah, but the main character and the potion puzzles are wonderful! Skip the first and the third, just buy this one!
