The Legend of Kyrandia (Book One)

Extremely hard game that challenges you Oh my Gosh, GOG, you make me so sentimental. This is the brilliant adventure game with original puzzles and unexpected traps. The game was really hard, because some puzzle ("potions") took weeks for me to solve them, and some puzzles ("books") stopped my lo-o-o-o-ong play and forced to use walkthrough. Even after 15 years I still blame myself, because there (and only there!) I ask for help from the internet. Not so hard, but very interesting part of game, as for me, was a labyrinth. I have an old notebook where I drew placement of all its chambers. It was re-e-e-eally scary to go to the next room with last charge of berries. A lot of fun! :) Malcolm, I never forget you.

Very disappointed on this game. I bought it since I remember all the magazines back in the day praised it. But after completing it, I really do not understand the praise. There is barely any plot, and the whole game is just walking back and forth through unnecessarily empty rooms hoping to find ingredients...

Great game, some genuine non-liberal humour. Spend hours as a child with my late mother and now enjoy with my kid.

Gog, I've been hoping ever since I joined that you'd add this game; thank you for justifying my faith! This is a terrific whimsical game with a lot of humor, fantasy, and creativity. It's puzzles rather than action (there are very few ways to die), so if that's not your style, be warned. But the game is pure, pretty fun. I can't wait to play it again! =)
