As a thug beaten to the brink of death you have started your mission of revenge. You want to bury those bastards six feet under for what they have done to you, but to do so you need to start your own gang and recruit right from the streets. If a new gang member turns out to be a punk, blast him, and make room for new ones. Move up in the world, but watch out for the Kingpin, eventually you're going to have to take him on.
Somewhere in the past that never crossed paths with the future lies the world of the Kingpin. Burned out buildings and urban decay are the landscape. Local gangs roam the streets, protecting their turf and scooping out opportunities.
Recruit a gang of thugs and rule the streets, snuff out rivals with a single head-shot and watch them bleed to death. Or put them on fire and watch them suffer. You will deliver an extremely brutal and violent death to those who messed you up. Kill everyone who stands in your way and become new Kingpin - crime lord of every thief, murderer and dirty thug in the city.

Dlaczego warto kupować na GOG.COM?

This was actually a fun game but i was expecting a little more. While this may be a fun game the controls were hard to learn and the graphics were kinda sad. When i played i did not expect so much cursing but got over it, but the violence was just weird. When you hit someone with a lead pipe three times holes appear on their shirts. If you like games that are somewhat strait-forward/mission based the buy this game if not I would suggest Gothic (A awesome RPG) or The Redneck Rampage Collection (a humor based FPS). This is a fun game once you get around it's flaws but this game is not for most people.
Once you hit the start game button you have to ask yourself 2 simple things:
1) Do I care about story?
2) Am I ready to quick save a lot?
Kingpin's story is paper thin, throwng you into its dark gritty world with one premise, Revenge!. Imagine Shenmue if Rio just got on with it and shot people, instead of wasting time with that Fork Lift driving job.
Kingpin does however excel at being a fantastic old school shooter, where you will die in seconds if you havnt got your wits about you. Standing in the open isnt going to cut it here, and you had better be strafing in and out of cover if you dont want to be turned to mince meat before you can blink (I found myself save scumming constantly). The game does however throw you a lifeline in terms of the excellent hiring system. Kingpin makes it clear from the start that your no super human, and that your just about as durable as the enemes your trying to kill. With that in mind you can hire thugs to come along on your tale of revenge and give you some much needed extra firepower. This is accomplished via quite a nice money system, which you can use to hire goons, buy weapons, health, armour and ammo (plus a few upgrades).
Another point of note should be the rather excellent A.I, not just of your enemies, but of your fellow guns for hire. Enemies will mostly run if shot, regroup, and very rarely stand still long enough for you to headshot them. Your allies wont just follow you, but will climb ladders, jump from box to box, and even crawl through air vents.
Kingpin is by no means perfect, but I found it very enjoyable and played it through to completion.

I have soo many fond memories of playing "bagman" online, its a CTF hybrid that basically involves you grabbing money that falls from the air at a central point of a map and taking it to your home "safe". The fun part was raiding the opponents safe which is much more lucrative then grabbing the "falling money".
What makes the game fun and hilarious?? For one the outrageously strong weapons - whether its the flamethrower which will engulf you from a mile away or the grenade launcher that has a blast radius of a nuclear bomb. Coupled with maps that have strategic "choke points" where every player gets funneled into a central area - creates total chaos.
Can't remember how many times I laughed so hard that I cryed while playing bagman. The cussing and gangsters just add to the hilarity.
Single player was alright but the multiplayer specifically "bagman" is to this date - the most fun I've had online in a teambased game.
This is one awesome game.
Everytime I see it somewhere I have to replay it.

I've not replayed many games but this is one that I have and will again. :)
I always played the demo as a kid (had to to that behind my parent's backs or it wouldn't last :P). To have this game now is a great moment of nostalgia. It doesn't work with ATI drivers higher than 10.4 but can be fixed by placing the file atioglxx.dll from the 10.4 drivers in the directory of the game.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
