One of the best RPGs ever made!

The game has all the necessary elements to draw you in for hundreds of hours. You simply fall out of real life. 1. A strong historical foundation. A deep and well-developed plot. 2. A beautiful game world, high-quality graphics, and animations. 3. A realistic fencing system - the best in computer games. 4. Lively and soulful music. You'll fall in love with this soundtrack. 5. A well-thought-out combat system. At the very beginning of the game, the main character is a good-for-nothing villager. But gradually, our hero develops, and by the middle of the game, he will be able to stand up for himself. No, he won't become a terminator - the game has a very good and realistic balance. You will become much better, but you won't turn into a terminator. 6. Huge freedom of action and possibilities. It's like GTA in the medieval times!

Great game

If you are looking for a mindless game to play then this isnt it. This game requires a lot of patience to learn everything. If you have patience then this is the game for you. If not, go back to Warzone and deal with hackers.

Despite Bugs, Everyone Must Try!!!!!!!!!

[Disclaimer:I do not have the GOG version, due to me buying it used for my potato console via a friend who sucks at any moderately difficult game} Any RPG lover, historical game enthusiast, Deep Silver fanboy, or just anyone who loves games with a deep progression system in an engrossing and beautiful game world complete with a tale of intrigue and tragedy, then this is the game for you. The opening act starts slow, but it really is useful to the newfa-ermm....new players, unfamiliar to combat system in the same vein as Deep Silver's Gothic or Risen, a fairly complex martial system but a very rewarding one that requires timing and forethought instead of button mashing will tanking any damage coming your way. This type of play will get you killed and frustrate you immensely; so take your time and dance around your foe, feint attacks and probe for his weakness, and if hes a powerhouse or you need a mace instead of a sword to damage his plate armor, don't be afraid to disengage and rethink your attack strategy. This game contains one of the most engrossing and detailed worlds ever put forth to screen, and the fact that they accomplished this using real historical events as a settings makes the feat even more impressive, especially for such a small(but extremely talented) group of game developers. The only problem I and some others are having is the bugs. This is somewhat expected from a small dev team who pushed the game out to meet deadlines when it was obvious to everyone that it needed another month in the oven. But that being said, the patch they already put out fixed alot of my problems i was having, and like New Vegas I feel like once a few more patches come through, this will be the gold standard for RPGS in the years to come.
