Opis
Kenshi is an open world, squad based sandbox RPG set in a brutal sword-punk wasteland. Gameplay is open-ended rather than a linear story, so you can play as a settler, a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave... or just food for the cannibals.
But first things first, you need to survive. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors, carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive. You are not the chosen one, you’re not great and powerful, you don’t have more ‘hitpoints’ than everyone else and you are not special. Unless you work for it.

An intriguing RPG/Survival hybrid sandbox that invites you to experiment in the world it presents. Some technical hiccups interrupt the open world and the freeform nature definitely isn't for everyone but if you are after something different, Kenshi is the very definition of that.

God Tier Game
Kenshi is a little clunky, but the massive amount of content in this game more than makes up for the little quirks. Once you get the hang of stuff (and it takes a bit) you will be swallowed by this game. This is the only game where I can be a drug kingpin, a tax evader, a cannibal, a thief, AND a devout Christian. Because why not. Thank you devs for the masterpiece, I give you my Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Award.

More accessable and post-apocolyptic X3
You could also call it a more in-depth survival Mount and Blade. Classification is hard with this one. My first goal was to create a manufacturing concern - maybe run a few caravans to sell my products. Well I quickly learned that to be profitable I would need to be near the raw materials. So I set up shop in the wilds next to some nice mining sites. Oh - hello bandits and wild animal. Ok. So I needed to set up defenses and have a few guards for my drudges. Ok cool so everyone is hungry. So I need some farmers. Also now that I have a big enough operation the local authorities want to tax me. Ok I guess - but take care of the bandits. They don't. By now I am relativly self sufficient and my manufacturing concern is a town more impressive than the Capital cities. I stop paying tax because the city state won't kill bandits. Now I am a small nation. The technology tree is making my small nation look impressive. I can manufacture gear for my soldiers. I send expiditions to far-away. Find new things. Anyway all that was in Beta on Steam. Haven't played this gem since. The Game is missing some kind of ground leveling mechanic. I find it maddening building in the hills.
