I enjoyed In Sound Mind far more than I expected to, thanks to the great variety to its puzzles and overall atmosphere. While the final revelations didn't blow me away, they did bring a wry smile to my face. In Sound Mind is one of my favourite indie horror games of the past few years and is highly recommended if you're a fan of the genre.

Despite some disappointing and frustrating moments, there’s enough compelling stuff that I can still recommend In Sound Mind to fans of adventure-leaning indie horror games. Overall, I dug this team’s ambition, and I was excited to see where it was headed. I just wish the game ran better and streamlined some of its level and puzzle design.

Great game, cant wait to see whats next

Enjoyed the story until they started to talk about agent rainbow then it lost me, i satyed for the great writing and was put down to think and reflect many times, i hope the sequel explores the idea of human psyque even more and leaves the whole conspiracy to the side, i love you for ever cat-a-tonia.

Great game, works on Linux (via proton)

I played on Heroic using proton, and it worked perfectly. There were some areas with low framerates no matter my resolution and graphics settings, but that was very minor. The gameplay and story was really enjoyable and well-paced. Some areas were a bit spooky, but mostly it was more puzzle than survival than horror. also cat

A first for me

Normally I don't find existential horror to be a real thing. Stuff like mouthwash just made me angery having the charaters make all the wrong choices. In sound mind's first patient hit so close to home, I'm not sure if I'll keep going but I strongly feel that is game is well made. Hearing the tapes for her made me realize that I really do need a therapist again, so thats pretty good for any art. Would recommend.
