Really Terrifying!
Really Terrifying! First game of this year that really scared me! Just finished playing this game, gotta say it was a blast the whole time. Never a dull moment, always kept me on my feet. Definitely recommend this game to someone curious about it. I'm happy that it's on GOG!

People do not walk this slow
Why do these horror games make walking through it so painfully and unnecessarily slow? I spent most of this game with my finger on the sprint button. This game is not great. It's fine, a bit of a slog to get through, but not great. The one thing I enjoyed most of this game is the visuals. I think that is probably the best compliment I can give this game. Don't get me wrong, this game has its amusing moments. They might not have meant to be amusing and funny, but they are cliches and tropes, so it's hard not to laugh or chuckle. Some people may find it scary, but this was not the case for me. You spend a lot of this game hunting for keys and then hunting for the door the key goes to. Or walking around trying to figure out what to do to trigger the game to continue on. Certainly not the worst game out there, just standard horror game fare.

Has its ups and downs
First, the positives. White-knuckled plot, first rate graphics, atmosphere, and audio. A few jumpscares, but doesn't go overboard with those. Some people might consider that last one a negative, but I'm not crazy about jumpscares. I play these games to solve puzzles, find hidden objects, and discover clues to mysteries in a scary setting. For me, that's difficult to do when I always have to worry about being attacked by a demon. Now, for the negatives. First, hidden objects are somewhat redundant. Usually keys or papers. Objects could stand a bit more creativity. Second, certain parts of this game are difficult to operate with a mouse and keyboard alone, even with a gaming mouse. Best to spring for a USB gaming console with a game like this and they're not cheap. That brings me to the biggest negative of all. Certain parts of the game require the hand-eye coordination of a surgeon and fighter pilot all in one. Someone like myself, who has dexterity issues may find these parts unwinnable. I have found ways to make some of them winnable through ingenuity, but I'm thinking specifically of one particular phase where you have to escape a demon by running into a safe area which requires you to crouch down in order to enter. Since you can't run and crouch at the same time (at least I haven't found a way to do that) you have to hold down the W and left-shift keys to run, then when you reach the safe room, you have to quickly remove your finger from the shift key and press the left-ctrl key, all while keeping your finger on the W key. Then, after you enter, assuming you get that far, you have to quickly turn around and shut the door. You have less than a second to crouch, enter, turn, and shut the door. I've checked out several walkthroughs on youtube and from what I've seen, all the players use gaming consoles. That's why I recommend those over the standard mouse/keyboard combo for this game.

This game is a hidden gem
This game is amazing! It took more than 4 hours to finish, and I can say it was worth every penny! You don't stop for a second without thinking there's something close to you. It's almost impossible to believe that this gem was developed by just one developer!

Utter Garbage
Not Scary, Fun, entertaining. An absolute chore to get through. The one enemy spawns with a cut to black, and too close so you die unless you know to not be sprinting when you hit his trigger and also immediately start backing up and have a perfect 180 spin and run away. Much like you should do to this game. Sometimes doors open by themselves and others you need a key but it won't tell you which. You won't know until you wander around the same rooms for a while and maybe find a key that was very hard to see. I doubt this was playtested. The ending of the game even turns itself into slender seeking 7 pages to a bible. TL:DR The devil did it and game sux.
