15 years ago, we were awakened from the cryo-trays. We had survived the journey to Hiigara, our lost homeworld. Then they told us that the planet we left behind had been destroyed. Our families... friends... everyone not on the mothership - killed. Destroyed by an enemy we never knew.

We realized there was nothing for us on Hiigara. No property, no rights, no future for the "Sleepers". So we returned to the stars, fully awake this time, to work and rebuild our lives.

It is ironic, then, that we are the ones to discover an alien capable of exterminating all life in the galaxy. And only we are in a position to destroy it.

Fifteen years after returning to their homeworld, a Hiigaran sect unwittingly releases an alien horror. Now it's up to you to commandeer the Kuun-Lan, a Hiigaran mining vessel, and transform it into a combat-ready mothership. Build and control a fleet of ships, research technologies, and harvest resources while you search for a way to eradicate the alien threat before it is too late.

Patch is Spanish

I played this game a long time ago, bought it on disk and installed it ... it was hours of entertainment. Now it is for sale only in English, someone knows how to download patches for Spanish subtitles ... please please

Constant crsahing after 3dFX Logo.

I've done everything I could to get it to work and followed all the tips, but it just keeps crashing. Not worth buying this. Where can I get a refund?

I think it was good on its time

I never played this on its original release, neather any of the homeworld games, but i play old games and indie games strategy games often, and i never seen an UI so counterintuitive that i can't catch without some manual or instructions. If you already know the game and you want the nostalgic run, then go ahead, have some good fun, if you never played it, don't even try, keep up with the amazing remasters of the other two games and wait for the third one, but avoid this one like a plague

Fun!...then a problem

So I loved this game as a kid. And it would never load right on my laptop-newer windows 7. Thank god you have it. Put it on my new Alienware Aurora 7. Worked great and played a lot. BUT! after a hiatus of...a month? I tryed playing again and it will not load. The video on the beginning plays and then the games trys to load but it just becomes a black screen in the upper left corner with no borders. have to CTRL ALT Del and stop it to close the useless window. I hope that you guys see this review soon and help me fix this issue soon. I would love to start playing again. Sincerely, Jonathan Smith
