Another Masterpiece
Hollow Knight was one of my favorite games of all time, and somehow Silksong was able to surpass it. They improved upon every facet of the first game and managed to retain the beaty and charm that Hollow Knight has and more. I have purchased this game on multiple platforms, its that good. Silksong is one of the best Metroidvania games of all time.

Worthy successor
All in all a worthy sucessor. If you loved the first Hollow Knight, you'll love this. I think the fast travel system and the rescue cute animals thing was more naturally integrated in the original Hollow Knight. But that's no reason to give less than 5 stars. A great game!

A generous game worth the wait.
Hollow Knight has been my favorite game since release so don't expect a totally objective review. Silksong is the worthy successor of Hollow Knight. Beautiful, with a magnificient soundtrack, and an ABSURD amount of content for its price. A nervous and rewarding gameplay. Plenty of lore to dig. Yep, Silksong has some rough edges. Yep, Silksong is hard (even nerfed). Yep, Silksong has some unforgiving moments. If you want to finish it, you gotta gid gud. But unlike what I've been reading, the game is far from being undoable or frankly harder than Hollow Knight. Whenever a part of the game seems undoable, it always mean you're missing something which makes that part doable (or frankly easier, especially for two hazards), or that you may have to consider alternative strategies. And yep, it can feel a bit grindish at moments. But honestly, it barely scratched the final appreciation I had of it. Yeah Silksong sometimes give you a big slap. But that's okay, because it's dwarfed by everything Silksong has to offer. And as you would expect, it's now my favorite game. I would like to thank Team cherry, which did another work of art, DRM free immediately.

Absolute Masterpiece like Hollow Knight
Since I have been using GOG, I gave 5 stars to only 4 games. This is the 5th game I'm giving 5 stars (like Hollow Knight). In this review, I'm not going to point all the positive about the games because most of the reviews are already listing that. Instead, I'm going to refute all the people that said the game was too hard/frustrating. If you are one of these, read the rest: The game is perfect the way it is. Is not much more difficult than Hollow Knight, and if you enjoyed Hollow Knight you will enjoy this masterpiece as well. But only if you follow my advice: THIS GAME IS NOT TO BE PLAYED IN THE KEYBOARD. GET A GAMEPAD. I finished everything in Hollow Knight with all the addons except one thing: the Path of Pain. It was the most frustrating part of a game that I played in my entire life. I stopped playing Hollow Knight because of it. Months later, I was looking for some game to play and I revisited Hollow Knight this time with a Gamepad (Xbox One, in my case). Completely diferent story; I got 10% of the Path of Pain in my first try. Previously in the keyboard, I think I never reached that part before. Long story short: if you play Silksong using a gamepad it is a completely different experience. It's not that much harder than Hollow Knight. I've been playing for 12 hours now and the only boss that gave me trouble that I need 8 tries to beat was the Widow. All the others were beaten at most in third try. For the new players: This game is not easy; it's slight more difficult than like Hollow Knight. Hollow Knight was the Dark Souls of metroidvania games (very hard but fair). It's not for everyone. That said, if you liked Hollow Knight, PLAY THIS GAME WITH A GAMEPAD and it's going to be a positive and unforgettable experience.
