Still crashes.
This game still crashes to desktop for unknown reasons. This game expects you to juggle 4 character's actions at the same time, each doing something vital for survival, such as gathering food, setting up long term food production, setting up defenses, preparing the win condition, production of weapons and materials, deconstructing useless items, scavenging the environment for components, etc. You have to do this all at once, its all vital for survival and success, oh and your on a time limit (via limited food on the map), oh no, double time limit (via endless spawning enemies). And of course you can't pause the game to give orders, switch characters, manage inventory, place buildings, nope, its all real time only baby! Oh and it all feels clunky, and its hard to keep track of what items you have collected because holy shit there are so many different items. Oh and the controls are shit, you use the numbers 1-4, the p key, and the arrow keys, because fuck the players right? And no, of course there is no rebinding of the keys, LOL. There is so much wrong with this game, its a real shame because it could have been good, it could have been fun, but there is just too much wrong with it. It's playable, if it doesn't crash, but why would you want to play something this horribly clunky and unforgiving and busy? You can't even access the options menu when the game is paused, the esc key does nothing, it doesn't even bring up the options menu. The devs just don't seem to care about it.
