Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

The best of the whole strategy series (among all Heroes of Might and Magic games). This game is something that gives you endless hours of fun, a well-known classic (I hope - it's an assumption after mostly meeting people who know this) that doesn't get boring after fighting for 3 hours straight! The best playability that did not disappear the last 10 years - always a game I gladly came back to. Nobody managed to repeat this stunt. The gameplay sometimes seems not too balanced. But only at the beginning. Every castle has its flaws, balancing the benefits. It takes some time to find them, but oh, how much fun is it to play. And the music provides the greatest atmosphere! Truly gives this game its it. It fits the places, gives them a certain feeling. The campaigns provide a lot of fun. And they do follow a story, one pre-set by other games. This is an achievement, especially comparing to some other games. This is simply the best TBS ever made. Hours of fun. In other, shorter words: the gameplay is awesome, the music is awesome, the whole thing is AWESOME!

My rating says everything. I have nothing to add to my review. 5/5 stars. No regrets. This is Heroes 3, after all. :D Warning: it WILL cause addiction and the impulse to read strategy guides and creature tables, in the middle of the night. And you will love doing that. Try the hot-seat mode, at least once in your life, with one or a couple of friends that are fans of the game. Trust me, you will remember it.

This is one of my favorite games. The newer versions have better graphics, but I feel like they aren’t up to snuff. They game is by no means balanced, but there are a lot of mods out there that can balance things out. I usually play vanilla and still think it’s amazing.

I have been playing this game for at least 10 years and it is one of those games I just keep going back to. The main reason being is there is just so much content in the complete collection. Not to mention spin off campaigns and if you go to http://www.celestialheavens.com/ you will see the sheer vastness of user made content. Every game of heroes you play is different and if you have the chance to play this multilayer it is one of the best RTS for this. Many times have me and my friends have played a hot seat and then carried on the game later that night over the internet because we just want to keep playing one more turn. If you have never played this game before don't even think about buying it, just do it! I would pay $60 for this game easily so at $9.99 you are getting an absolute bargain!

Thank you so much GOG.com for bringing this much valuable game to our era. I am very glad it works with Windows 11. This is probably my favourite game of all time. Everything is beautiful: the art, the castles, the artifacts, the creatures, the sounds, the music, the vibe... I love every detail of this game. I started playing it many years ago, before 2006.
