Hellslave is a simple turn-based RPG with first person view and static enemies. The fun in the game is in finding better loot, building a cool build and overcoming your enemies with a combination os skills and spells. The sound design really does a lot of heavy lifting to give impact and a satisfying feel to the combat. The story is pretty cool, inspired by christian mythos and the art is like a grimdark comic book. It could use a more robust crafting system, but It's clear the scope of the game was supposed to be small and fun - and it does accomplish that. I do recommend it as a casual RPG for anyone looking for a game that takes less than 15 hours to complete and you can pick up at any time.
So far, the game is good fun and entertaining. I love the gameplay style— that rogue-like turn-based combat makes the game enjoyable. I also love the exploring; each time you enter the same dungeon, it's like a reset, and you can play through it all again, and it will be different. I love that. The story is simple, nothing new, but engaging. The only thing that is slightly negative so far is the repetitiveness; mostly the same enemies over and over, but it’s no big deal. I will add more when I progress if needed.

Im a sucker for dark gothic stories, and hellish lore, and here you can go along, at your own leisure exploring the story, which though simple is intriguing enough to hook u up if you into the darkness and satanic knowledge.
I felt the money was well spent when I got an ability called SATANIC POWER ... I laughed and loved playing it casually to level 11 when I decided to do the review after 8 hours.
