Makes you unconfortable, in a good way!

I love how the game has no tutorial, no distraction just straight into the game, the only out of character thing in the game is that [spoiler]you are greeted with a message about permadeath to create tension[/spoiler] Voices constantly speaking to you, disturbing visuals with the previously mentioned tension increasing system, makes you uncomfortable, tense, and that's not a bad thing, it's part of the story of the game, this just shows how they achieved what they wanted with the game. Because of this I'm taking breaks while playing, for me it's not a one sit game, even though it's not very long. Also, I need to mention the out of this world voice acting, it's just phenomenal. And even though only an indie studio, Ninja Theory, made this game it has the best character model I've ever seen in a video game. The one thing I was afraid of is the combat, but turns out it's really fun, especially if you don't try to abuse it with constant dodging and stuff like that but make it fun for yourself. The story telling is great, the puzzles are creative.

This game will blow away your Mind!

Hellblade is a game where you can feel the Indie heart inside of it! The psycothic feeling of Senua Disease will drow your mind little by little and you will keep playing it in order to discover more about the story and what's behind it! It's absolutely NOT A GAME ABOUT COMBAT, but it's about the story and the mind illness. But also if the combat isn't nothing revolutionary i still enjoy it: the combat system feels a little bit like Rocksteady Batman series but without any HUD (yes, all the game is hudless and no UI). The puzzles are most of times simple but not annoying at all (and sometimes you will lose your mind in order to understand how to solve an enigma) The graphic...no words about it: Marvelous (i love the sea waves on the shore) The price is very low for the quality of this product!

Adequate game by adequate people

It is a very much gondensed experience without any unneeded features (no tacked-on modes, no idiotic difficulty). This game follows a very specific direction and it does that well. The setting is unique, the subject matter is something new and it feels original and fresh. Gameplay is divided into sections, that helps it to not get stale. The only thing I don't like is the inability to jump e.g. you can't jump off a ledge, you gotta use the stairs. In the end, Hellblade feels like a breath of fresh air and that's definitely worth something.

loved it

The story was great and wearing my headset made the ongoing voices helping, complaining and picking on her like i was in the game myself. The acting was great i got to play it in 4k it was just beautiful. The mechanics took a bit to get used to but it was worth it there's nothing like slashing a guy in front of you then to hear a voice say behind you and perry at the right time was just cool and iv'e never got to experience it like that. Yes the combat was a little easy but they made it unique and fun. I don't know how to describe this game it hits so many genre's so well. All i can do is thank Ninja Theory and their crew.
