pay to win
Game is fun, havnt played for long. Had a low level match against someone with so many pay to win cards it instantly ruined the game.

Less rows but more randomness
I have been tired of Gwent with 3 rows, that had couple of must have cards due to design choices and was waiting for two rows update to see how two rows will allow me to make more tactical card choices and make game more strategic. And boy am I disappointed. The two rows still serve no purpose. Yes you can play card further or closer to have different effects, but with card limitation on hand and changes to cards with loverwing hp, damage etc. these rows will never be full. So you will almost always have an ability to use whichever card skill you need making tactical decision while selecting row pointless. The 25 card minimum with almost no cards to thin deck with 10 cards per hand per round makes this game random game of luck instead of strategy with a little of luck. If you don't get the deck thinners in initial hand and card swap you will loose vs someone who randomly gets his thinners. PS. Everyone I have played lately who won with me with good results takes 3 witchers + 1 golden horse to thin deck by 4 with one card. It seems it is a must with so much randomness involved.

Times Change
I like both Beta Version and the latest version of Gwent. Times change and things as well. I do not hate the change. Faction identity is developed here. If you can not find synergy and strategy in the cards then I don’t know what to tell you mate. Some will say that this is Thronebreaker. Yeah you can feel the flavor of it the style is the same in some of a different aspects. Do I agree with the drastic change in the gameplay. Losing a third row and some of the really awesome cards of the past. No, but what I can not say is that this game sucks. I will say a ton of these comments are by people that are outraged. For what times change, people change voice your opinion but keep it real this game is as competitive as it ever was and just as fun. If they changed it back to the Beta Gwent I would be just as in as I am with this version.

RETURN GWENT FROM ALPHA
I fell in love with Gwent back in The Witcher 3. I was very pleased to hear that they were releasing a separate game of Gwent. Alpha was beautiful - but now, the game was released, and what do we have? Some kind of squalor. RETURN GWENT FROM ALPHA
