No game world has been as engrossing and captivating as Grim Fandango. From the Aztec/film noir backdrops to the amazing soundtrack and the voice acting performances. It stood out in 1998 and even by 2015 standards this game hasn't dated. The remastered version gets rid of the clunky control scheme and updates the already beautiful backgrounds and character models. I'm so happy this game wasn't lost in the LucasArts/Disney vault.

Errors during install, errors after install...this build won't run. Looking into fixes requires hefty install and uninstall of VC++ 32 and 64 bit C++; yet this is the only GOG game (including a number of LucasArts titles) that seem to need this.
Unoptimized garbage programming, keeping me from playing what I remember to be an excellent game.

Now, guys, after you made this remaster, it's only natural that the team should start working on the Sequel. Most importantly, Tony Plana's voice must be in the sequel. It's acceptable to change Meche for example, with something similar, but Manny must be Tony Plana's voice.
The sequel HAS TO HAPPEND. No excuses.
Guys, LOOK at how many GAMES are out there. So many games without good stories. Nothing.
Most new games lack substance and story. Grim Fandango is unique. That's what all Companies are looking for. I don't even have to say all this. Just DO IT.

This game is riddled with bugs included lots of graphics issues. Story is pretty bland and the puzzles mediocre. clearly a game of its time and this isn't it.
