overpriced, as it needs to be

If you're looking for good value for money, this is not it. Those are cosmetic-only items that were given to Kickstarter backers and other supporters in the past (who bought the "Loyalist Edition"). If there would be no way at all to obtain them today, people who discover the game for the first time now would be left out. If they would be given away for a cheap or even a fair price, those who backed the game with high sums in the past would feel cheated. I think this - making the items available for purchase, but at a very high price - is the best solution after all.

Second chance for non-backers

You know what? This is the right way to hock backer swag to non-backers. Instead of artificially limiting stuff (which makes no sense with digital goods), other potential buyers get a chance... but at a premium since they didn't back the project. There are far too many games that lock this stuff to backers, leaving a bad taste in the mouth for everyone else. On the other hand, the backers absolutely deserve getting something for taking a chance. Making this stuff a timed exclusive and then releasing it for others at a price is the best compromise. Think about it. If the stuff was unbalanced... the non-backers eventually get a chance at it. If it were balanced, we still get a chance at it, with a reminder (i.e. the price tag) that we could've gotten a better deal IF we backed the project. The company makes some extra money while proving they don't support permanent exclusivity deals, something we should not be supporting as responsible consumers.

Not worth it

I get it, it's for loyalist, who want to support the game and the devs. But come on, there's not nearly enough in this for it to be any kind of worth. Love grim dawn and i hope the game sells well, but i would rather pay for real content than a handful of cosmetic upgrades (that don't even look that good). So...stay away from this but buy the game for your friends :)

Just support for developers

It isn't bad DLC: new illusions look good, and whisper is helpful when it's too dark in dungeon. Also it's a goood way to support devs for making a good new game content.

Of Course It's Worth

The point of this isn't to get loaded up with tons of cosmetics, which would require tons of work. The point is to support a developer that has worked on the game and provided content long after making the sale. It's cool if you don't want to buy a few cosmetics, but some of us want to give them some support for all the hard work and dedication to this game. There's a reason this game is better than Diablo, and it's because the developers worked harder and had a lot more integrity than those s*** birds at Activision/Blizzard. Glad to give them some money, and the cosmetics are pretty nice.
