Well made story
As per december 2018 and later the game is finished, yet it has some more space to improve. Nice story, good pace (you'll think that everything takes much more time than you want, but after finishing you'll understand that it's ok), some irony and few good characters. Everything that you fould want from a game like this...

A cozy, epic journey
I have more than 150hrs played in this game, and I can't recommend it enough. Yes, it's a bit buggy, and a bit grindy, but in my opinion is a fresh take on the "stardew-valley-like" genre, with a lot of content to explore. The only thing that really don't click with me it's the combat, but I'm giving 5 stars anyway because the rest of the game is *that* good.

Fun But Plays Like an Early-Access Game
GyK is not a terrible game, it offers a pretty chill "Harvest-Moon-like" experience with a pretty unique setting and mechanics. A nice feature is that the Day/night cycle is less stringent than HM games, you can stay up late and there are no seasons, only a 1 week cycle so the pressure to get things done "this season" is not present. The problem with the game is it's just not finished, it's missing QoL features, there's unused stuff and there's lots of mechanics that are interesting but obviously not fully fleshed out. This is apparent in the frequently uneven tech progression and in the rather sprawling crafting mechanic which seems to dominate the game-play more than actually keeping up with your graveyard. Overall I can't say GyK is a good game but it's unusual enough that I don't regret the time put into it. It has a lot of potential to become a good game and I would give it 3 stars if it looked like the developer planned to continue to patch and flesh out the main game but it appears they have gone the route of DLC to fill in some of the holes.

Loved It
Simple, enjoyable, interesting dark fantasy world, farming sim. The quests are fun in this game. The characters are all interesting. I wouldn't think digging graves would be fun, but this game does a great job all around. You awake in the afterlife as a graveyard keeper with the goal to get back to your family. You tend the graveyard, build a farm, and uncover secrets to get you closer to home. The days of the week correspond to the NPCs that are available to interact with. Not great to have to wait a week to finish a NPC quest, but there is good feel of progression and accomplishment in finishing the tasks. 5 Stars because I very much enjoyed playing this game.

Great game, love it!
I bought this game previously. It's lots of fun. The dialogue is amusing at times, the donkey adds some craziness, the church sermoning is certainly good, the whole thing is just a bunch of crazy themed time. If you just want to play something that's different and interesting but calm enough not to be overly stressful this is good for that.
