I've been a fan of puzzle games for ever. This is one of the best, and most beutiful ones. Sure it's realtively short, but I promise you the experience is ALL worth it :)

Unique concept for a memorable game
A puzzle like no other. The gameplay is simple : you have four square as a playground and your goal is to resolve puzzle while sailing in drawings, juggle between them, connect them, etc This isn't very difficult if you take your time and pay attention to details. The story isn't that obvious given the fact that the narration isn't linear and also because there is no talking or text to read. Everything goes through the drawing. There is some obvious subject of course but no everything is given on a silver platter. That's clever in those time where everything must be clear and told. The end of the game will let you with questions and curiosity about that element or that element you've seen. It took me 2 hours and a half to finish. Seems short, but not really. The game tell his story and that's it. No need to go further. A smart level design of an unique experience. If you like puzzle game go for it. If not i recommand you try it either way because you will not play or see this type of game twice.

Short and sweet with emphasis on both
As the title of my review states, Gorogoa is just as short as it is a great experience. This artistic puzzle game helps you leading a boy through mazes that tickles the imagination while showing off impressive artwork that would fit in many childrens books. The soundtrack is nice but not exactly breath taking. The whole ordeal is over in about an hour or two and the puzzles usually aren't very challenging. The only times when the game indeed does becomes a tad difficult it's usually because of the game not being very clear about what it wants from you. This complaint can of course be applied to many puzzle games but I do think it still counts as a flaw, as well as a constraint of the basic game premise that doesn't really open up for more complex challenges once you grasp the underlying logic of it. My only real criticism is however the price when considering the lenght of the game. Deciding a price on a video game is always a bit tricky but when you fork out ~15 euro for a game you really would expect an experience longer than this. All in all, Gorogoa still makes for a solid recommendation for those that enjoys puzzles and beautiful art!

Short but very, very sweet
It feels weird giving 5 stars to a game that only lasted about two hours, but I must say that I enjoyed every minute of them. This is a neat puzzle/picture game that's entirely point and click. Though there's no tutorial, text or dialogue, the game somehow manages to show you what to do. The mechanism of manipulating the images felt intuitive and there were enough variations as the chapters progressed that each one felt unique. Though there's no "plot" per se here, I liked that there was somewhat of a story which could be interpreted in many ways. As others have gushed before me, the art is stunning. I got this on sale for $5 and for that price I definitely feel it was worth my time. This is the perfect game to play in an evening. It may not last long, and there may not be a huge amount to it, but what it does... boy, does it ever do well. There's a reason for the high rating on here - if you like puzzle games, relaxing games, or, you know, any kind of art...you won't be disappointed.

Amazing
I don't pretend to understand what happened here. But the artwork, soundtrack and the unique think-out-of-the-box puzzles here are just downright amazing.
