Interesting game with a fatal flaw

Gorky-17 is a unique game and has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, there is a bug where exiting your inventory with an item picked up deletes the item from the game. So if you're several hours into the game and didn't realize you accidentally deleted an item you now need - good luck. You'll have to start from the beginning if you don't happen to have a save slot from when you had the item. Either way, it's a game breaking bug that makes it pointless to put any time into the game.

A tad small but nice.

First of all. You'll probably run into game braking problems like having to use the software renderer just to play the game, but this will lead you to stuttering sound in the menu and ingame if there are a lot of fire effects. If however you are one of the lucky few that have no issues with the game, well its going to be a nice one. Its a bit short, but still had fun with it, even decided to disregard the issues. At times the game might seem unfair but as long as you save often and use different save slots, its easily doable. (To finish it i mean)

Very Disappointed

No matter what I tried I couldn't get this game to work. I tried it on an XP machine and a Win 7 machine. I tried adjusting compatibility settings but nothing would work. Really wanted to play this game.

Cannot be reviewed

Due to the fact that this game has massive issues running on modern systems. For example, on mine (Win7 32 bit) it simply doesn't. No solutions are known either, so that was money well spent. Be aware of this potential (but highly probable) issue before buying the game.

i understand the game is old. so no claims on graphics but the control is quite strange....
