Awfful RNG
I wanted to give this game a good review but I missed, just like my pilots who can't hit anything. The awful RNG makes this game feel like a game of chance instead of skill, many of your battles are unnecessary long because no one can hit anything, even the enemies miss but if they are elites or bosses you are screwed, they will always hit. Some reviwers talked about making good use of the arena. Well, you go to the arena to grind money and xp to level up, in other words, they make themselves OP and then they fight the enemy, but when you do that there is no need for strategy, just blindy charge at the enemy, what a bad game design. After you play for a while your pilots begin to obtain abilities and those abilities are way too strong, making the second half of the game much easier. As you can see, the begining of the game is really hard but the middle and end of the game is easy, I think it should haven been the other way around, start easy to learn the mechanics of the game and, as you advance, it gets gradually more dificult forcing you to strategize, but no, get hit with a brick at the start and if you pass that you are done, you will beat the game because you already passed the toughest challenge. By the way, once you get the abilities, you can not choose them from a list or anything because they proc automatically based on a certain chance, so even your abilities rely on RNG. This remake is made by Forever Entertainment, an indie developer, and they made the game on Unity, maybe that's why this game looks very soft and bland, and even some animation kook really weird., almost like a mobile game. Also, this is not a remake of Front Mission, the first game developed for the SNES, but a remake of Front Mission 1st, and Front Mission 1st was the remake of Front Mission.. this thing is... a remake of a remake? I recommend to buy other strategy games that are better and cheaper.
