Completely linear, illusory choices
While it's got pretty visuals, and claims to be an open exploration game, really it's completely linear; you are barred from accessing particular areas until you complete specific steps in order. The premise is that you are a man who's left a bad life situation to get away from it all by becoming a fire monitor in the wilderness, and your only contact is by radio to a woman at another tower. You have various choices in dialog with her, none of which are actually consequential. You can talk with her or explore the initial area of the game, with its thinly disguised—and in one case literal and not disguised at all—gating, and deal with various minor problems via choices that don't actually produce different consequences later. You'll make discoveries, even encounter some seeminly dark mysteries, but it's all completely scripted and even the surprise reveal toward the end turned out to be something I'd figured out a while back. And then, the end just happens. Save yourself a few bucks and a few hours and play some other game.

It's a walking sim
Played it on a friend's steam account for a couple hours. Its walking sim fetch quest: the game. You get no human interaction. Everything is via radio to a voice in your ear who directs you around, or you find audio-logs. The story its is... ok, I guess - better than Gone Home - but at the same time the ending is a massive let-down IMO. This is a game you really shouldn't be a rush to play. There are RPGs and other games with far more engaging stories wher you really feel that your actions matter.

Fun Game
The game is programmatically stable, well written, has good graphics, sound and music. There is even a walkthrough mode to explore the wilderness independent of the story, which is very relaxing and fun. I don't like combat or violent games, so this was a welcome addition to my library. The game is mainly for "normies". Normies are people still asleep in this Earth 3D dream and believe only what their 5 senses tell them. This game doesn't contain any higher dimensional concepts, awakening or mystical references, ETs, or other supernatural elements. Maybe I'll work on developing a game similar to this but talking about the illusion of the self, the illusion of matter and separation, the journey of the Soul and re-integration and oneness with the world around the player.

An experience bundled up in a game
The game does not wear out its welcome. The voice acting is top notch and how it's implemented allows the player to flesh out the characters' backgrounds, personalities. While exploration is deeply encouraged, it is not required. It will give you not only more information about the park, but more opportunities to interact with your other main character. Recommended for people that like a one-playthrough experience and favor atmosphere over gameplay.
