Infuriatingly addictive
This game is everything I ever wanted.... to command a starship. However it isn't easy and sometimes a simple mistake can mean death for your crew. I love all the customisations and tools. If you want a game that makes you think, takes time to learn and not one to conquer quickly then this is really the game you want.

Random Number Generator
Yep, this is it. It is no real game, it is some kind of a random number generator. You have absolutely no influence on your chances to win. All you can do is to hope that you`ll have luck. But in 99 of 100 times you`ll have bad luck. It could have been a very good game, there are so many interesting and good things in it, but the game itself ruins the good parts by always throwing unfair encounters at you, which you can not survive. You can not develope any strategies or tactics, because the game is all about absolute randomness. My advice: Only buy this game if you are in the S/M scene and love to get kicked in the nuts. But if you like games that are fair and give you at least a small chance, then avoid this game by any means necessary! Why do I give the game two stars and not only one? Because you can enjoy the game, for a short time, at least untill you -after your 30th unfair death- realize that this game is not fair.

Frustrating and boring
If you feel like wasting a few hours on a horribly unbalanced, pure luck based game that "generates" encounters based on a very limited number of different events (maybe you meet 4 intruders instead of 2, maybe the ship is purple instead of orange and so on, ooohhh the variation) at least get it on sale

Captivating and nice little game
Yes, even for these days FTL is still captivating and looks quite good. We have a bunch of different adjustable and upgradable ships to play with a different tactics. FTL is a sort of space-chess with some alien lore and a turn base strategy with a gamble dices. So, depending on luck, you will have pretty much different results with the same strategy and brains for each playthrough. That is why I do not understand why there is no save/load system. Actually it is possible to make saves - manually copying profiles in some other folders. But this is annoyng part of this game. From the other hand - one run is not so long. Like chess. And only you decide when to press the button on the clock

Addicting Roguelike
This game was a really pleasant surprise. It is addicting, fun, and brutally challenging (if you want it to be). For such a low price, I cannot recommend it enough.
