Nice surprise
So, here I am, indeed what reviews said about this tiny game were true. I was leaving it pass by, but at its price gave him a go. Good I did! It is fun, entertaining, no grinding required. Get it, you'll enjoy. It's a roguelike, casual, but in one day I've had a few runs and I just want to be able to play it again. Totally worth it!

Space chess action blast
Full disclosure: I have not beaten the Flagship. I have gotten to the second phase, once to the final phase. I have some 40 to 60 runs. Some 20 to 40 hours. I think i got to the boss on my second run. And I am still tryng, because this is an amazing game. Praise: you can keep playin just unlocking ships and trying again. You can try both the old version or the advanced edition. It is quite stricking how much of a difference just 2 systems can have on the game. Lots of variations. Lots of potential challenge runs. The game is simple and yet no game has been able to replicate it. It is unique, it is great. You do not need to wait for a discount, because you will get so much out of this game. How to play: download it, try it, fail, lose a month just trying to win. Stop. Uninstall. Wait a year, try again. Fail. Uninstall. Wait a year. Try again. Ten years later: still love it.

Hard at first but a Great Game!
I had played this 60 times before I decided I had no idea on how to properly beat the last ship, and with one youtube video that showed the prowess of the flak, the transporter and finally the all-important cloak. my next 5 games all ended in me winning the game. Unlocked all the A-level ships...... I was hooked even more. love this game, it can really make you mad though so just be aware. I started to get really good at managing the ion and the weapons, made quick work of ships. all wins were not with rockets, strategy is key if you didn't plan well before the last jump you might as well just start over. try to hit as many jumps as you can and as many missions as possible!! great hints like upgrading doors early or playing with the power on different systems... I will say using the 3 flaks and an ion was so much fun, no ship stood a chance.....

Simple must try
You just have to try this game, You rather gonna love it or just not. Simplicity of mechanic, music, graphics and general simplicity and yet so many ways to play, ships, weapon configurations makes it worth trying for everyone, I get back to it every couple of years.

One of the best games I've ever bought
I have FTL on another platform, and I can't tell you how much fun I've had with it. You'd be a fool to pass up on this gem if you're even slightly interested in it.
