Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

I actually wrote a proper full review, but gog character limit is designed to post bad unmeymeys, not reviews. tl;dnr no gameplay, one of the worst stories ever, 100mx100m tiny map, abysmal dlcs This ♥♥♥♥ is filled with bugs. Besides the errors and all the crashes, some of the main quests are unplayable. I had to open the developer tools and issue progression commands one by one. Or how about a random dude just running up to me on a street, punching my face, after which every NPC in the entire game became hostile. The only thing they were chasing with this release is Metacritic score, with zero care for the quality. It was released many years ago and to this day they’ve fixed nothing. The graphics are disgusting, since this is Oblivion everything is intolerably ugly and all the characters are revolting. It already looks like a game from the previous century with its low-res textures, but also the whole art-style is piss-yellow brown. Desolate Fallout at least used bold dull colours, not this pastel-poop rape-bloom. All the art-assets are ugly, the things which looked good in Fallout were changed to look as hideous and humanities as possible here. Well, at least you can run it in UWS UHD Surround if you edit enough files.

Overrated. Not very fun to play, ugly, and the writing is more miss than hit. Plus it just runs bad out of the box. Character creation is so boring and tedious that a mistake in your build means 10 more minutes wasted doing it again. The voice acting also sucks and I couldn't care less about the plot. Oh no! A bunch of unlikable jerks want to control a dam. Wow, such high stakes for a place so devoid of anything interesting. I will never understand the hype surrounding this game, especially when there are a million better ones you can spend your money on. Soulless trash. But it's better than 3. So that's something, I guess. Play Fallout 1. It's like a thousand times better.

All Fallout game are awesome, but anyone crash and make u install a lot of things and hear and learn a more lot of thing just to play a while and then crash again. Its no worth. forget to play this good oldie. Dont waste ur time

Everybody wants to tell me that FNV is a great game - well, it is not. It's not even a good one. I am not talking about the the many glitches. I am talking about mostly downright atrocious quest designs, that often makes you go forth and back between quest giver and objective like 5 times. There was no companion I really liked and usually I love caring for companions in other games, includng Fallout 4. Then there is the environment, a barren wasteland that holds nothing of the gloomy vibe, variety and excitement of the destroyed cities and wastelands in Fallout 3 - storytelling is MUCH better there. Instead you have factions, one more flat than the next. In the overall FNV story-arch there was some good storytelling, sure but most of the 179hrs I spent in FNV were boring. Enough to keep me hooked but I actually _enjoyed_ only the smaller part of it. In the 300hrs I put in Fallout 4 I was less bored, though that game did it's best to throw busy-work at me. FNV-DLC-Stories are mixed, The endless droning about 'Bear & Bull' of Courier Six - unbearable bullshit. Honest Hearts is ok, if unremarkable. Old Wold Blues is somewhat funny at least it tries to be. Best DLC is Dead Money - far better story and more interesing place than the whole game together - I'd buy the whole package again just for this. The 'grey morality system' is also praised a lot but it is rather the stale. Making difficult choices in a world you don't get attached to, is kind of moot. 3 things I loved about FNV: 1. You can mod the hell out of it - this the reason to get this! 2. I loved to hate THE LEGION - what bunch of A-holes! 3. I learned that Power Armour sucks - I did not care for the BoS-jerks in FNV, so I got it very late and then never used it. Turned out to be a great change of pace that carried over to Fallout 4, where I used the Power Armor maybe in 4 Missions or so (darn thing needs constant repair anyway, so why care). FNV is basically ok, but F3 is so much better.

Broken, boring mess with a rabid cult defending it no matter what. It railroads you so hard it's a wonder that it wasn't Obsidian that made the Railroad.
