Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

Dlaczego warto kupować na GOG.COM?
BEZ DRM. Aktywacja ani połączenie internetowe nie są wymagane do gry.
Looks great at first, also free, and on GOG, so all good. Alas, two major issues :
1- overwrites FO4 so if I unterstood well, you have to uninstall London & re-install FO4 in case you want to play FO4 again ? Foolish. Enderal uses Skyrim SE motor so you must of course get SSE, but it doesn't overwrite it...
2- As nearly everyone here, I can't play more than 2 hours (level 3 not even reached) before the game definitely crashes on my system (Laptop Ryzen5+RTX3060). No way to go further. On the same laptop I run a heavily modded GOG-SkyrimAE through MO2, whithout even a lag.
To Steam users : no fun for you indeed, but how many times did I advise you to break with this DRM-binding company ? This time you're not the winners, that's it.
Anyway, I have to uninstall now, too bad. Waiting for corrected release or patches.
Despite owning Fallout 4 on Steam, I bought Fallout 4 on GOG specifically because it claims to be the easiest insallation for Fallout London. Unfortunately there is no way to download any installer for Fallout London. There doesn't seem to be any files at all. All it tells me to do is 'link executable' and offers Fallout 4 as the link, which just takes me into Fallout 4. An hour of trying to find any way to make it work and no luck. There is no online insallation guide that helps on GOG or anywhere else. I'll give an extra star because I'm sure the team put a lot of work into this. I just wish I could see even one second of it.

I hadn't played Fallout 4 since 2017 (two playthroughs on console and that vanilla storyline was not calling me back LOL). News about this project immediately had me interested. Now that its finally out, I've been having a great time in post-apocalyptic London. The Dev team has successfully captured the feeling of Fallout while using their own distinct iconography, music, weapons, and items. Using a pure GOG install is the easiest option (Purchase Fallout 4 GOTY through GOG too). I read about the complexities involved in using a Steam Fallout 4 install, but I am getting too old to be tinkering and messing with all that. A full GOG install is the easiest method. Also, following the instructions is MANDATORY. Don't go thinking you've got mod experience and you know better than everyone else - just trust the Dev team and fully follow their instructions. I'm hoping that future updates to the mod will make this a 5-star experience. At this time, it's a solid 4.5 stars. Yes, there are some crashes but I don't blame the mod. There are too many variables in PC gaming setup and the wellknown Bethesda engine jank, so your mileage will vary in regard to PC performance with this mod. My experience has been great and I've significantly reduced the crashes and errors by following their instructions. The Fallout London Discord server has been amazing in providing support. I'm only docking points because the lore is not as fleshed out yet as I like, but that is understandable considering the amount of work the Dev team has put into this project. A free mod on this level is just stunning.
