Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

As others have said, amazing game until the train crash then constant and endless CTD. Sometimes i can play for 5 or 10 minutes, other times 5 seconds. This only happens in the open world space, never in interiors.
What i have tried:
-Base game (Fallout 4 GOTY GOG) and Fallout 4 London installed only. CTDs.
-Installing the recommended mods on their Nexus page using Vortex (MO2 gets Buffout error). CTDs.

First thing I noticed thirst hour after train crash is that this not mod but WHOLE GAME have new level system more like simpler version of old fallouts perks. It's more like rpg than fallout 4 to me and the atmosphere, oh god it's so good. They nailed it ♡
At this first premiere version it has some bugs but I didn't encaunter any that can broke any quest or crash the game.
Now give me some tea with milk and let the fun begin!
I couldn't get the game to load after starting a new game it would load a few images while loading then get stuck at cut scene with the black lines before crashing, also make sure u have the correct versions of F4 and HD texture pack. The crash fix was easy to fix listed below. I am running a 165hz moniter with a RX 6900XT, I'm assuming it's running too fast and possibly messing with the game physics. I changed the ipresentInterval to 2 and problem solved. You do need an app to open that file to read and edit it. I use Notepad++ iot's frre and works.
It is advised to keep the default settings and play the game with a 60fps cap. The fps cap that the game uses is determined by your monitor refresh rate (typically 60Hz or 120Hz), and dividing it by the "iPresentInterval" value.
To change this value, access the Fallout4.ini file located at the following location by default: C:\Users\\Documents\my games\Fallout4
If your monitor is set to 60Hz, the iPresentInterval value should be "1"
If your monitor is set to 120Hz, the iPresentInterval value should be "2".
Setting it to "0" uncaps the framerate and can cause the issues mentioned above.
If your monitor is set to a value larger than 120Hz (such as 144Hz), we advise you to set your desktop refresh rate to 120Hz instead, when playing the game.
I chose deliberately to play Fallout London with as few spoilers as possible.
My 1st hour in, I had minor irritations. I was bothered by the design choice to prevent me from equipping armour and weapons, when control was returned to me. There was a branching room that led to nowhere, and I took way too long to progress until I blindly stumbled across a door that was nearly invisible in the dark (I was not given a torch yet). And I only got to leave the starting area after 20-30min.
2nd hour in, the world opened up. I was wary, scared, no weapons until I found the cane. I found the way out. I was outside in what passes for daylight in sunny London. I found a dog. I started exploring.
4th hour in.. I completely forgot I was playing a total conversion mod. This seriously feels like a game that Bethesda made. No, it's a game that you, every member of Team FOLON, made and you should be proud.
For those having problems like constant crashes like I did, please visit the Discord. They have solutions posted. I fixed mine once I realised I was launching the game through the wrong executable.
Gameplay: The quests feel dynamic and part of the world, even the fetch quests. Some of the quests feel hollow, like there could have been more to it before I completed it. For such a huge game there are of course many nameless NPCs for flavour. But overall 14 hours in, I am truly invested. Well done, FOLON! Now to get back to my game
