Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

Fallout London is a wonderfully crafted game and whilst far from perfect, reflects a great view of what Britains Fallout world would be like.
The Big problem with it however is the buggyness. It can crash easily, some quests may be bugged, saves can be corrupted or it may stop working entirely.
The issue I just encountered: It was playing perfectly fine for weeks and then one night I closed it down and went to bed... The next day it launches and it's the Fallout 4 classic menu screen but extremely zoomed in and none of the standard fixes would work. Attempting to load my save resulted in a crash every time. I tried some of the 'fixes' and a fresh install... now it won't launch at all.
But I was enjoying the game so much that I will persevere, delete all files and start again and see if I can get it working better.....
But all Bethesda games are buggy as standard... so it's par for the course really lol. If you are British and love Fallout it will be an awesome game.. if you are not then it will probably be only frustrating haha.
Fallout London is an amazing expansion into the Fallout Universe. The voice acting is top notch despite some hiccups here and there, and the story is fairly solid for it being a Fallout story. I mean, Fallout 3 and 4 are the same story but roles are swapped, so anything that isn't that is great.
Some performance issues here and there, but nothing totally horrible. I think I only crashed a couple times, but definitely give this a try! It's free!
If you enjoy fallout, then you will enjoy this. Classic styled fallout humour crossed into part of the game world lore that you wouldn't get to see from Bethesda themselves. Yes, the game has bugs / crashes and just works Bethesda nonesense, but for a game that overhauls everything into it's own identity and gives you in my opinion a superior experience to fallout 4's actual story I'm sure you can forgive those quirks. Give it a chance, and remember Mind the Gap.
