Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

I really do want to love this game. I really do. The amount of work Team FOLON has put into this is amazing. All the little touches that it make feel unique but yet still very much Fallout are absolutely wonderful, but the crashing. OH MY GOD THE CRASHING!!!!!! I've used the Buffout 4 mod to help the experience but I honestly can't tell if it has helped. I'm constantly crashing. Now with that said, I do think that there is something very special here and I can't wait to continue exploring London. However, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to wait until the fix is in.
Took some work at first making sure it could run proper then never ran into issues; I put it on the level with New Vegas for a solid Fallout ARPG experience. The ending was wonderfully English. I played the story through on a Camelot playthrough and had a great time. Lots of true to form places. Themesfolk were natural additives to the setting. I know from backend that the team had issues getting it out of the shelf for people to play and all the more you can feel the passion in the project through and through. Thank you Fallon team for some top quality work!
Simply downloading it here won't do the trick, you have to downgrade F4, but that is not everything, the game crashes upon start and if you don't put in the time to install and go through all the mods and reinstallations, it still won't work. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
Don't get me wrong, the game truly delivers in exploration and regurarely on storytelling, however the lack of larger settlements and player homes (the ones provided are too small, weirdly located, with the only one with decent space being the Tennis Museum and the only player home obtainable due to sign in with a faction that has no crucial place in the main story also having to do 6 large quest in order to get it and not be able to customize it yourself or dissmiss companions there) feels a little bit underwhealming, meaningless and frustating at some point after 86 hours of gameplay.
They said 20 factions, sure, but you can only end the main game quest with 3 of them, while the others play the part of side quests.Bullet sponge enemies, lack of energy weapons, lots of fetch quests.. the game is far from finished in my point of view.
One thing I must adress as well is that most of the mods are not compatible with it, that being Sim Settlements 2 due to quests tied to the Commonwealth worldspace, along with it's dependencies HUD Framework and Workshop Framework, which change the values of resources in settlements and revert back the custom icons from the mod back to vanilla, same can apply for mods that add more food items, craftables or workshop objects, the textures will revert to vanilla.
To summarise this, better wait for polishing, this clearly needs more time in the oven
this mod is amazing in my personal opinion. but needs some work. there are too many quests that just wont let you progress if you explored the location before a quest brought you there. other bugs like settlement building not letting you place down the double decker busses. still a good mod, just have to skip a quest every now and then
