Excellent Game
Fallout 3 from GOG runs perfectly smooth and stable running Windows 10. No GFWL as well. Really nice game. The graphics and gunplay isn't that great but exploring the vast, dark post apocalyptic world of Fallout 3 is fun. Definitely recommend this game for all.

It accually works.
I've had FO3 on Steam for along time. Big fan of the series in general. Somewhere betwwen windows 8 and 8.1 the game became unplayable with each update. Now on Windows 10 Steams FO3 get 1-3 mins before a crash. GOGs version does not use wondows live so your stability is much closer to FO NV. Meaning other than the Xbox version this is the only other stable version. Unlike the xbox the PC version runs at a civilized 60fps and mods, mods, mods. I am so glad I can enjoy looking for my father again.

Fallout 3 GOTY
I played fallout 3 extensively from DVD under wine in Linux and loved it (despite the occasional crash). :) This GOG version of fallout 3 (GOTY edition; windows version) plays seamlessly on my Linux mint 18 box without crashes of any sort ... and I love it even more. I am still finding things from the original in this epic game, and the extra content is hours more fun, not to mention the increase in level cap from 20 to 30. There's also some new bad guys that will challenge you at the higher levels. The only problem for me is that it left my screen set at a lower resolution when it exits. If it does this for you as well, try ... $ xrandr --output DVI-I-0 --mode 1920x1080 ... or whatever your resolution should be. In summary, it's *great*. Enjoy. :) :)

Great on Linux. DRM Free. no dll hassle!
Runs Better Than the Steam Version. Installed it via Lutris. Runs Close to native windows install. With xboxdrv installed has controller support. Tested On: Ubuntu-Server 18.04 HWE 5.0.0-37-generic

Still Interesting In Mordern Time
I have downloaded this before on Steam, and i am going to buy it as well here. Some advices to the people who were hesitated from this classic game: +NICE STORY +THE WHOLE WORLD ALWAYS BE ATTRACTIVE TO ME +GOOD S.P.E.C.I.A.L SYSTEM +LOTS OF TEXT QUANTITY +HAVE REMAKED SOME SIGNIFICANT GADGETS SUCCESSFULLY FROM THE 2.5D FALLOUT +THE WORLD WAS FILLED WITH LOTS OF RANDOM EVENTS +THE BEST RPG GAME IN SPIKE TV OF 2008 (TGA HAVEN'T BE BORN AT THAT TIME ) +THE FALLOUT3 ON GOG WAS AVALIABLE TO "WINDOWS 10", BUT STEAM -NOT DETAILED MODELLING -SUPER BAD SHOOTING FIRING FREEDBACK -LESS ENDS THAN BEFORE -BUGS, BUGS NEVER FIXED -THE DISPLAY OF FALLOUT3 IS EXTREMELY BAD TO YOUR EYES TOTAL SCORE: (10/9.3)
