Great game wish I could PLAY it.
Game crashes to desktop everytime I try to start a newgame. I have attempted everything listed on the store support page and even tried googling a fix. I contacted support 3 days ago with no contact from them. I love this game and would love to actually get to play it.

Use Windows version on my MacBook Pro from 2014 (Intel GPU) by following instructions on site ... https://portingteam.com/files/file/8182-fallout-3-goty/ Runs very well. Loved this game on PS3 a few years ago.

Works "out of the box"...so far
I did not have high hopes for this since I tried the GOG version of New Vegas last month, which didnt work at all. So imagine the shock I had when THIS started up on the first try without any mods or changes to the files. Dont give up people. Ive played little over 2 hours now and it hasnt crashed or freezed even adjusting the FOV in the console works like it should.

Working and enjoyable
While not recent, the game is still enjoyable and working correctly on my computer, it's not a recent computer, it may explain why the game is working on my computer and not on recent computers, I suggest people having crashes to try to install old windows 7/8 and/or latest versions of Direct X 9, 10 and 11 to play it. Fallout New Vegas and its DLCs were very enjoyable, I'm looking to find out if this Fallout 3 and its DLCs are as enjoyable as New Vegas. Thanks to GOG.
