As a member of the strange secret society E.Y.E, you wake up after a fight in which your fellow teammates were killed. E.Y.E, an armed branch of the Secreta Secretorum is attempting a coup against the all-powerful Federation, a coalition of several worlds and planets that rule with an iron fist.
To complicate matters, E.Y.E itself is plagued with its own internal conflicts between the Jian faction and the Culter faction, to which you belong. Your loyalties are torn between Commander Rimanah, your superior and the chief of the Secreta who is a separatist with an unstoppable ambition, and the "Mentor" your friend and instructor. The "Mentor" tries at all costs to unite the two rival factions. In doing so, you are thrust into the middle of a fratricidal war frought with political conspiracies and quests for power in which different groups and megacorporations are implicated.
These troubles set the stage for an attack by an unknown force bent on destroying humankind.

Unpolished but unbelievably unique

This game maintains a mysterious warhammeresque type of aura. Dialogue, game systems and story is pretty much left to explore and quite esoteric but this game really attempts to do its own stuff. There are 0 affordances by other designs. From the smallest things (reloads are not automatic) to the biggest things (plots, objectives not directly spelt out etc,). Strongly recommend to at least try!

You should get this if you liked Deus Ex

It´s great, plays like a combat focused Deus Ex, with a lot less ¨physical¨ environmental interactability. However, if ya play it with Death Grips on shuffle in the background, it becomes awesome and everything makes a little more sense.

60hrs on steam

MandaloreGaming review on youtube, go there for a sales pitch. devs also made Necromunda Hired Gun, is fun janky times. Streumon is genuine in everything for better or worse, and their stuffs is always at the very least interesting, and pretty much everything they make is fun.

A Marvel of an Oddity

(originally posted December 30, 2011, at 38.4hr mark) After buying this, Section 8: Prejudice, Zeno Clash, and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition, LP and ZC of which I have yet to play, I keep launching E.Y.E. because of how fun, challenging, and interesting it is. + Very challenging if not on Chicken difficulty. + New, interesting, fun and various mechanics and features. + Gameplay and story affecting decisions. + Many different, attribute based, classes. + Various weapons. + Side missions. + Many character Upgrades. + Fun, tricky hacking system. + Interesting storyline and lore that aren't hand fed. +/- Game must be beaten thrice inorder to find the true ending. - Can be irritating as well as repetitive when enemy reinforcements constantly spawn without enough time to progress to another street corner between.

My legs are OK

While E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy would be best enjoyed as a glorious 32-player co-op experience, the single-player is engaging on its own with its convoluted, charmingly bizarre narrative, hilariously weird level designs (with fantastic art direction), and endlessly fun gameplay, all of which make for a rich, repeatable experience. Worth its weight in brouzouf.
