Quality x Originality
Probably the best and most original of all the "boomer shooters". Level design, music, and graphics all nail it. The theme is fairly unique for what it is, and there are many surprises and good ideas while playing. If you like and Quake, Doom, Blood, and the like, this is a no brainer.

Dusk deserves its spot among the greats
There are some levels that are sluggish and on lower quality settings the shadows are incredibly dark--I feel like the flashlight could be just a bit brighter. It would make certain game segments easier to navigate, especially in tight corridors. However, overall I feel it more than holds up to the old greats like Blood and Doom.

Fantastic shooter
Had fun with this one. Lots of levels, and lots of secrets. The enemies are challenging, the weapons are fun and the level design is creative. I found this game pretty challenging, remember to quick save a lot ;) Sadly I did have some small technical difficulties, but nothing game breaking. I used the Linux build on a steam deck, and the control bindings were mixed up. Worked around it by using steam input to bind the keyboard and mouse controls to the controller. The multiplayer button on main menu is broken (The game is looking for the wrong file name to execute, symlinking the right one to the wrong name worked around the issue). Also the DUSK HD file comes without any instructions, do I just extract into the install directory? a README file would be nice.
